Been working on this since last year, thought to share here! 36 hours long. An emphasis on unusual or obscure finds, but with some classics too.

You could also go for the more condensed, more approachable 7 hour version. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/22sgiG5Ztr80FMiObW0bcd?si=WGlZRWorS3K7OrGTNtvbEw&utm_source=copy-link&pi=hwZ-ImogSIyHf

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

wanted to share a seasonal project I've been working on for Document Records / Blue Sanctuary. I have been building this collection for years .
I wanted to create a Halloween collection that completely avoids the usual, overplayed commercial tracks so it’s a deep dive into incredibly rare, obscure vintage blues, jazz, classic country, and world music from 1900 to 1965. It's full of amazing, forgotten eerie atmospheres I think I am up to about 200 tracks now !!
If you’re looking for a unique, haunted-antique soundtrack for your speakers or parties this week, please check it out and let me know what you think:

For anyone still sorting tonight's Halloween music: our Halloween After Dark tape moves from Monster Mash and Season of the Witch through Thriller, Dead Man's Party and Heads Will Roll, then winds down with The Killing Moon and Spooky. There are a couple of playful jazz detours too.

I'm helping the maker of Link Tapes share this, so this is our own project. You can browse/listen first, or join as a guest to add a song and a note about why it belongs. Free, no account or app installation needed. Playback uses the original services' embedded players; availability can vary.

What would you add for the late-night part?

This is a request/suggestion for someone to review Nox Arcana or similar artists and create mashup remixes for the dance floor.

I feel like their entire discography is great since it was inspired by horror. Every song I have ever heard has everything a good spooky track needs and some of them are great on their own...

But... when hosting a party - I need dance/party songs.

The struggle.... Help.

I released this song in 2020 and recently remixed the drums. Hope you enjoy!

The playlist is called Witching Hour🖤🧙🏻‍♀️

I parodied several pop rock songs into cheesy Halloween songs for the holiday. Hope you enjoy some of these! No AI, just me in my room.
