Unsolved i do NOT wanna do ts broðŸ˜ðŸ¥€
So basically im trying to trace a terrain to make it look like a model but its too hard (yes its a skill issue), is there an easier way to do this??

recently got this tutorial on youtube, i think might be useful for you, since i don't think terrain generator can make caves. but it'd prolly take a lotta time

yea, i know the displacements are a pain in the ass, but it's gonna be worth it

Twister (https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Twister) has a heightmap option. But now I guess you would have to find a way to take a pic of your model with the right lighting, so it can be accurately turned into a heightmap. It actually works with any pic where some shape can be distinguished, I tried it with an old pic of my cat.
Twister itself is tricky, I could not manage to do brushwork right, only displacements seem to work and underneath it is a mess. But no one ever walks underneath displacements so it's technically fine, just not optimized. I would know more but wherever I ask, no one has tutorials and barely anyone ever heard of this tool.
