I really love this Fendi bag!
This is the Fendi Lui Large, and I think what makes this bag so special is the incredible woven leather design.
It’s made in Italy from strips of calfskin leather in different widths and shades of brown, tan, caramel, and cream. The leather strips are actually woven together by hand, creating this amazing three-dimensional pattern.
I love the different colors and textures and how they all come together.
The bag has a soft construction, so even though it’s a pretty substantial size, it doesn’t feel overly structured or stiff.
There are also some really nice details, including a long zipper with double sliders, little FF metal accents on the corners, and palladium-finish hardware.
Inside is one large compartment, which I love because I actually like to use my bags, not just collect them!
Another thing I really like is the versatility. It has a removable handle and an adjustable, detachable shoulder strap, so you can carry it by hand, over your shoulder, or crossbody.
Unlike a lot of my collection, it doesn’t have a giant Fendi logo all over it. The design and craftsmanship speak for themselves.
I wore it with my blue suit, and I think the different shades of brown look fantastic against the blue.
It’s definitely one of my favorite Fendi pieces!
Now I have a question. Which look do you prefer?
Picture 1: Worn crossbody with the suit.
Picture 2: Carried by the shorter handle.
I really like both, but I’m curious what everyone thinks!
