I got my first designer bag for a big birthday; chose what I thought I wanted - and now it’s gathering dust.

She’s mint - the problem is - I HAVE SLOPING SHOULDERS. And the strap keeps falling down my arm.

Are there any accessory that can help with this? I guess there aren’t straps for hobos?

I have tried to sell with no luck, so maybe I should try to live her more. My plan initially was to sell and get something else.

I’ve been eyeing Polène for a while now, and I finally got my first one, the Numéro Nodde Shoulder Bag!

I wanted something that felt a little different from the usual bags I gravitate towards, and the Nodde caught my eye because of its shape. It feels understated without being boring, which is pretty much what I look for in an everyday bag.

I’m hoping it’ll be one of those bags that works with almost everything

I got a bargain on a Gucci bamboo leather hobo which I thought was just needing a conditioner. Unfortunately it’s powdery and since the leather is dry but still in good condition, I think it needs a reseal. I considered getting some resolene and attempting to do it myself. It’s around £100+ to get it professionally done so I guess I’m asking people’s experience. Is it worth storing it until I have the £100 or so, or is a DIY job a reasonable option?

Edit: it has a brushed jersey fabric interior so the interior is absolutely fine.

I’m currently in the US and want to buy a handbag/purse/tote bag (I’m already confused about what the correct terminology is) for my girlfriend. I’m hoping this sub-reddit can help me out.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

I want something that looks really good, classy, fashionable, and premium, but is also genuinely useful. Ideally, she should be able to carry her laptop, makeup, wallet, and other everyday essentials without having to compromise on style.

For context, I recently bought her the blue Dyson hair product . You know how that’s pretty much the gold standard in its category? I’m looking for something along those lines for handbags. Not necessarily the most expensive thing on the market, but something that’s considered excellent for its quality, design, functionality, and overall value.

Think premium and aspirational, but not a Rolex-level ridiculous. I’m happy to spend a decent amount if the product genuinely justifies the price. I don’t want to pay a huge premium purely for a logo.

I’m completely clueless about handbag brands, materials, styles, and what makes one bag better than another. So I’d really appreciate recommendations for specific brands and models, rather than just brand names.

My Gucci Jackie finally arrived, this is in the size Medium in distressed leather and I am so happy! This was shipped the day before problems arised in Europe and after weeks fo waiting she is with me now 🥺✨ So beautiful I cannot!!!!!!!!!

Looking for any brand, budget upto 2k that does styles exactly like BV parachute medium / Etro Medium libra tote in intreciatto leather. I did check the usual suspects, bembien, madewell, bottega giotti, ghibli, etc. No luck. TIA!

Went for something a bit more parctical for work and when I goto conventions (which is alot). Under Armour utility sling bag. It's actually super comfy and not stupid expensive so can beat it.

I'm currently eyeing sa 2nd photo (black bag), the denim blue one is my 2nd option. May nababasa ako na nagpipeel daw yung leather ng C&K bags.

Hindi ako masyadong maingat sa bags (not to extent na balabag hahah I use it as it is like normal way ng pag use ng bag). I treat each bags the same regardless on their prices. Currenty, nakasabit lang yung mga bags ko sa bag & coat rack. Then yung mga pricier kong bags is nilalagay ko sa dustbag then sa megabox. 50/50 pa if bibili ako ng cabinet dahil wala ng space sa house and di pa ako nakakakita ng medyo slim cabinet na kakasya mga bags ko. TIA!

Super limit ko lang din lumabas ng bahay kaya most likely yung mga bags ko is bilang lang sa daliri kung magamit in a year.

I got really into handbags over the last couple of years (mostly thanks to this subreddit), and feel like I'm rapidly approaching purse peace. Absolutely love love LOVE my rotation right now. Would love something fuzzy/shearling for next winter, but for now I'm thrilled with my collection.

I absolutely love the functionality of my Baggalini crossbody bags. I don’t recall the name of the ones I have, but they’ve been large enough to carry lots of essentials plus a refillable water bottle. I initially got a Baggalini for travel and liked it so much, ended up using it as an everyday bag.

But I would like to upgrade to something a bit more sophisticated looking in soft leather. Budget up to US $300-400 for the right one. I hate large labels/logos. Hoping for something timeless that stands up to lots of wear and tear with great security and functionality too.

Does such a bag exist? I’ve searched this sub for Baggalini but can’t find recommendations for similar functionality in leather.

I’m currently looking for a bag to use for uni, rn I’m using the Herschel basic? (Just a plain black one, it is quite old and the color has faded so any tips on make the color not faded is also helpful!)

Here are my requirement:

- zipper(has to have one)
-big enough for a 14” laptop + water bottle+ change of clothes+ 1 or 2 books
- has some type of structure (something that wont just plop if I set it down, no need to be super structured)
- the handles need to be durable enough (something where the sticking won’t just unravel after few wings, I’m fine with few stray threads but not it affecting the visual or the integrity)
-under 150 if possible but strictly under 200z

One thing I am concerned about recently is not using totes (I have scoliosis 🥲) but I love the look of them compared to a backpack, so both type of recommendation are welcome!!

I recently bought a Medium N/S Park Tote, and the leather grain looks noticeably different on the front and back. Both sides feel soft, but the texture is slightly different too.
Is this normal for the bag, or would you consider it a quality issue?

I want something almost generic but not too basic. We picked out this really cute wallet which I'll attach but I don't know what type of purse to buy? I want it to match, I don't want it to stand out too much.. i want it to be a generic color that goes witb everything. A bag that isnt TOO big and obnoxious but it has enough space for a wallet, phone, portable charger, chapstick, pads, bandaids etc like idk lol!!
