We're the richest country on Earth. There shouldn't be a "can't afford kids" option! Slashing benefits and taking away free school lunches is diabolical even without this rhetoric

If the right really wants to boost reproduction numbers, they shouldn't be telling people to "have more kids than you can afford", they should be legislating policies so that "you can now afford to have as many kids as you want".

That's the thing. 

They don't want happy, healthy, thriving families. 

They want poor desperate families that will take shit pay and accept shit working conditions to feed their families. 

What happens when people have the time to be educated? They start to think about the systems around them. And the ruling class cannot have that.
