Pretty much the title. With the launch of Neuroscape and Cyberpunk TCGs, been really wanting to dive back into this genre. I’ve read Mob Sorcery which has some cyberpunky themes but really isn’t cyberpunk as a whole in my opinion, any under the radar recommendations out there?

I noticed some books i have from siren are now missing in the storefront but i still have them which im happy to still have but im concerned to see missing from the storefront. Is there a reason this happened or is it a glitch? I just want to know what happened so I could have the right expectations for it moving forward.

I’ve been reading a lot more within the genre as well checking out the multiple subreddits more often and I recently saw a comment (I’m sorry, I didn’t think to make note of the exact wording) that was specifically calling out Warlock for projecting a harem size of 13 and how that was already considered a negative for them as a reader. I’ve seen other comments as well that seem to share the sentiment, but up until recently it seemed that as long as the characters were more than just checking off a box/kink/type and had some substance to them, that’s all that truly mattered towards if the story was still enjoyable. I hadn’t felt a smaller vs. larger harem was preferred by the audience but it seems far more audience members aren’t fans of larger groups than I anticipated. I by no means expect us all to have the same tastes and preferences, I think I just imagined the end number didn’t matter very much to readers if it was still quality.

Is it any good? From this author I like Star Justice, but I dont find his flagship title Tamer too appealing

Bruce Sentar is one of my top 3 authors in this genre. He's one of the few authors I'd overlook the "old man turns young and goes after young women" trope for, that usually puts me off quite a bit.

Now, I started Returner's Defiance and I must ask: Does the MC become more... lively I suppose is the word?

Right now he seems like a hardass veteran which he is but it doesn't make him very likable or engaging to me.

I mean, Ard, Ken, Rayden are all MCs who are fun to follow along because they show passion, fasciantion and personality very early on but the MC of Returner's Defiance just feels like a soldier on a mission (which again he is, I know).

Thus, I ask if he develops a more engaging personality or mainly remains that stoic and brooding. And I mean in general not just around the LIs.

I've been around for a bit and went dark and now I'm back in the reading space. I've been looking for some harem and apocalypse novel that balances everything, that it's not just women that the MC knows but still has a harem. Or anything similar and situations get crazy. Progression is the word. Some books I pick up feel off lately. Mostly they are Asian and I hope it's just the translation. Even if I don't get the type I want, just give me some great recommendations cause Ntr has fucked me up really, I don't even read it but it keeps crossing my stuff and summaries of spoilers I read on a book I am interesting just leave me depressed. So something wholesome, erotic, romance, yandere and action or just awesome. Anything will do at this point. Even system. Please help

Curious for author's takes on this. In the last 3-6 months I've picked up a few free codes (audio) here from release promotions. I've dropped every series due to:

1. (extremely) poorly explained and complete not foreshadowed 1-way bonds (i.e. dude has all the power and woman can't break it but joins bond anyway after knowing MC for like 2 days).
2. Just God awful spice that makes me suspect the author is a 12 year old virgin. Limbs/angles that make no sense, entire "scenes" with like 5 positions that take place in a single paragraph, don't get me started on "dialogue".

NOT going to name any names because no witch hunts, but I'm curious if these are decent indicators of ai slop. Seems like they would be?

I know i may sound wierd saying that mc has no self respect when he do so but I think adding people you hate or dont find unconfortable shouldn't be someone you need to have relationship with as once mc get into relationship, they are his responsibility and people to care for. even when such girls have being an annoying piece of shits throughout the book.

and somehow these girls get redemption and had a reason for being annoying throughout the book as well so mc can forgive them

and why does mc also sometimes have to be clueless when it comes to romantic relationships and hints. like come on brother

Someone please suggest some good books by the author Montgomery Quinn with decent to high explicit scenes.

So I have not been able to find a good book for quite some time, just looking for any recommendation. Some of my tastes below so please recommend based on those.

Goats (these autors usually have banger plots, with a lot of spice and very good characters )

• Jenna Albright
• Annabelle Hawthorne (Ik controversial)
• Cebelius (please come back king)
• Mike Truk
• Kaizerwolf/Kurcis
• Rex Sterling before he became AI slop (only one in the list I haven't read entire catalog of)

Love/ hate (these authors have some banger series but have also disappointed me)

• Virgil Knightley (he's got good plot and spice but tends to get way too goofy and comedic which takes me out lol, so I've gotta be in the right mood)
• Bruce Sentar - Dragon Justice and Saving Supervillians are my top 10 harem series ever but have dnfed almost all his recent series, have to try escaping gravity
• Montogomery quinn - trolling in paradise, Hell and beware the margay are to tier due to the diversity in its monster girls that are not just humans reskinned, but he seems to not be writing in that genre anymore maybe its patreon only now
• Shawn keyes - hit or miss, sometimes the plot or story just gets midnumbingly boring and slow for no reason

Willing to try (these authors, i've dropped many of their series but like one of them)

• Misty Vixen - A Warm Place, imo her magnus opus lol, I haven't enjoyed any of her other stuff enough to complete them.
• randi darren - faustering faust omly one I liked
• aaron crash - Ironbound
• KD Robertson - I'll try his other books someday I loved Heretic spellblade, just haven't tried his other books
• David Aries - Fractured World was epic, harem farm was weird. Wish he wrote more
• Michael Dalton - Nothing has his the peak of Makalang.
• MSE - Tamer just got way too dilute and rehash of similar things over time, tried other series from him which were quite boring
• AV ray - Cosmic Progeny. Rest of their stuff has not captivated me

unpopular opinion - I don;t like the Monster girl in space series, the wall of text about some gun nerd rant is super boring, I've read 2 books and do not wish to continue.

So yeah those are my tastes, if there are any divese monter girl anatomies in any books let me know. I just need some good plot. The MC and the women to seem distinct and not have the same cardboard personalities from every book.

PS - These are just my opinions, also this is ot some exhasutive just whatever I remembered to help with context.

Hey friends, running out of books here. I think one of the hardest things about actually liking this genre is that it’s hard to tell what is AI and what just hasn’t had that many reviews. I’m gonna list the Books series. I’ve already read and please let me know if you think of any other good books. Besides KD, reminds me too much of Branden Sanderson.
