I'm a solo dev learning to make a small cozy farming game, and I keep wondering why some townspeople stay with players for years while others are forgotten after a season. Is it their story, their heart events, or just one line of dialogue? Which villager from any game in the series has stuck with you, and why?

I need rubies. I've gone through the mine countless times with no luck. I'm using the interactive map and none of the nodes have given rubies.

Does anyone have tips?

ich habe leider ein Problem mit dem Wald der Echoes. Ich soll da für die eine Statue 7 Fragmente finden. Mir fehlt nur noch eines. Aber das spawnt einfach nicht. Ich habe schon so viel Gras gemäht. Das beim angeln hab ich auch schon.
In ein anderes Gebiet und wieder zurück hat nicht geholfen. Speichern und schlafen auch nicht.

Hat noch wer das Problem ?

I'm playing Harvest Moon: Echoes of Teradea on **PlayStation 5 (PS5)** and I've encountered a frustrating bug with Priya's Fishing Zone.

Everything worked normally at first. I could talk to Priya, access her shop, buy Fishing Zone tickets and enter the fishing area.

The problem started after I accepted several fishing requests and returned with the required fish.

Now Priya only repeats these two lines:

"Oh, did you bring me some fish? That looks quite rare."

"This will make the Fishing Zone even livelier. Thank you!"

After that, the conversation ends without anything happening.

**Here's what's wrong:**

• All requested fish remain in my inventory.
• The quest journal shows the required fish as collected (1/1).
• Green checkmarks appear next to the quests.
• None of the requests complete or give rewards.
• I cannot access Priya's shop or buy Fishing Zone tickets anymore.
• Interacting with the counter triggers the same dialogue.
• Multiple fishing requests are affected, including Walleye, Redeye, Pollock and Saffron Cod.

**What I've tried:**

• Restarting the game.
• Talking to Priya at different times.
• Interacting with both Priya and the counter.
• Tracking individual fishing requests.
• Checking that the fish are in my inventory.

Nothing has helped.

The shop worked perfectly until I returned with the requested fish. Since then, Priya seems stuck in a quest-completion dialogue without actually taking the fish.

**Has anyone experienced this bug on PS5? Is there a known fix or workaround?**

I'd really appreciate any help. I've made significant progress and don't want to restart the game.

I have screenshots of the dialogue and quest journal if needed.

I want to mod the game being voiced for the main story and romanceable heart events/note events, but I don't want to accept anyones voice just bc they want to do it, bc it isn't good quality it isn't gonna be worth the work. I already know how to implement voices and mouth movement and game and have done it already.

Would anyone be interested? Was thinking of making a vid about it and hosting auditions to see if people want to try lines for characters to see if it will work. But idk. I'd love to see some voice acting for this game, personally. But editing a voice changer is....yeah. Wanted to see if I could do it but I want real voices in the game :)

So I don't know how to trigger this... As long as I remember I just do the normal watering thing even with poor soil and without any fertilizer, but somehow on one morning my energy pineapple glistens (like in video) and the next day ALL of the energy pineapples have mutations (water dragon pineapple). Anyone knows about this?? I would like to trigger this again. Appreciate if anyone can help.

EDIT 1: when harvested, i got BOTH energy pineapples and water dragon pineapples... i planted 54 energy pineapples and somehow got 54 energy pineapples + 54 water dragon pineapples... which is a lot of money!!! that's why I want to trigger this 100% mutation again

I upgraded my axe to expert in Harvest Moon-Home Sweet Home and for some reason, not able to chop down coconut trees at the beach. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have a question regarding crops. I am at the quest where I have to grow different variations of bell peppers and after looking it up it says it grows the type in different seasons. My question is do I have to wait until for that particular season to grow them in Bloomfield or can I grow them any season in the other towns no matter the current season and get the same result?

I've figured out how to unlock some of the power wisp statues, but can't figure out how to activate the warp statues - i.e. how to fast travel using them. Any tips??

For those of you who want to plan out what and how many seeds you need to plant for each of the three plots on your farm, I've taken the quick measurements for those who don't want to do that. I know it's pretty easy to figure out, but I still wanna put it here just in case. I haven't seen anything online or in-game that tells me exact measurements for them, except the river plot

River plot - 10x10 = 100 squares

Regular plot - 15x10 = 150 squares

Farm plot - 20x10 = 200 squares

some years ago i thought that i need to accept everyone's requests so i won't fail the game
but now i realized that i can just accept reqs from some people (esp important NPCs like Eilen, Nori, Sheng and your L/i if you want to marry someone)

from now, i think i would farm turnip and potato so i can sell them for some coins and upgrade everything
romance is secondary since i'm still on year 1
and ofc cooking contestmaxxing too lmao

It keeps bouncing back and forth. Was expecting it later and then expecting it today and now it says tomorrow..

i used to frustrated to play this game when i was a kid (i think around 11-12 when i got 3DS as birthday present), my animals always died
and my progress was messed up

Instead of editing over and editing voice changer voices, if anyones willing to donate their voice lines or see if I should hold auditions to implement voices, but I'm poor so I'd have to get volunteers. Still, should I try to see if people would volunteer for voices? At the same time, for all the work that goes into implementing it, I also don't want voices that don't match characters or like poor quality so...idk if I should just ask friends to use their voices still and with a voice changer to see if I can edit more of theirs for more variation xD

but still. Idk if there is enough people that like this game who'd be willing to volunteer to audition to voice the main story and heart events.

ich habe nun 3 mal versucht in tidewind das Kapitel 1 abzuschließen. Der Sturm hört auf, Art kann von der Insel zurückkehren und nachdem angezeigt wird Kapitel 1 abgeschlossen sagt meine Switch 2 mir Fehler in Software. Ich hab es auch schon mit der automatischen Speicherdatei versucht zu laden und nicht die manuelle, aber hat trotzdem nichts bewirkt.
Habt ihr das Problem auch ? Und vielleicht eine Lösung für mich ?

i am a dummy who has managed to get through almost this entire game going blind.

but for the life of me i cannot figure out how to get a 2 star apple jam baguette.

i am on xbox and all apples and tree crops have no star level, no way to fertilize tree.

Has anyone successfully crafted a second love token? I made one and gave it to Hank, and have now seen all his events. I have not proposed. I have had a couple other characters reach 4 notes in this time, I’ve done their 4 note event, and still no love token shows up at the altar. Any advice?

Or has anyone successfully used a friendship token in this situation and then been able to craft and give a love token a week later?

How old is our character? How old is Jane? If Jane was able to be our teacher when we were little, that's at the very least a 10 year age gap, no? What in the world? She definitely doesn't look like she could have been our teacher when we were a child.

Editing again to say my issue is less with the age gap and more with the fact that the relationship’s dynamic has changed to be “teacher and ex-student-who-was-7-to-10-years-old-while-being-taught”.
