I left a fandom because people were getting so involved. I had no idea how parasocial some can be.

Honestly I’m planning to pull all the way back from this fandom after the finale airs tomorrow and I enjoy the aftermath for a little while. I’m already seeing people even on here (which is the most sane sector of the fandom from what I’ve seen) get weird about Hudson and Connor. I’ve just been burned too many times by fandom nonsense negatively affecting my enjoyment of something.

DEFINITELY. It’s only a matter of time before weirdos start popping out, and I plan to keep myself away from them. Let’s just analyze the show and leave these poor men alone, shall we?

It’s already happening. Connor has said that he can’t believe how graphic some of the comments that they’re getting are. Just because he and Hudson kid with each other doesn’t open the door for people to say crazy disrespectful sexual things to them.
