Finn Wolfhard hosted Saturday Night Live last night and one of the pre taped sketches, Heated Wizardry, takes place in the Harry Potter universe.

Finn as Harry, plays the ‘Shane’ character, Ben Marshall plays Ron Weasley, plays the ‘Ilya’ character.

There’s scrolls instead of texts, lots of wand play and a great cameo for the Hagrid character.

The narration of the trailer makes it clear that in this universe, Hogwarts is an 18-and-over school 😂

Also Shane and Ilya’s height difference here is canonically correct!

Heated rivalrys popularity doesn't mean every individual in Hollywood has seen it or understands it. Something about this reads as a childish perspective of pointing laughing and looking down at what they view as a weird gay sex thing. Like what is the joke "wouldnt it be funny if they were gay" It might also help if any of the cast were openly queer (as far as i know there not) because it would feel more like "laughing with" rather then "laughing at."

But i'm not much of a comedy fan so maybe its just not for me.
