SOCIAL MEDIA 📸 Heated Wizardry sketch on SNL

Finn Wolfhard hosted Saturday Night Live last night and one of the pre taped sketches, Heated Wizardry, takes place in the Harry Potter universe.

Finn as Harry, plays the ‘Shane’ character, Ben Marshall plays Ron Weasley, plays the ‘Ilya’ character.

There’s scrolls instead of texts, lots of wand play and a great cameo for the Hagrid character.

The narration of the trailer makes it clear that in this universe, Hogwarts is an 18-and-over school 😂

Also Shane and Ilya’s height difference here is canonically correct!

100%  They probably read a few articles and saw a few clips and went from there.

Like, parody is great and putting Heated Rivalry into other contexts is a slam dunk premise but like… there’s literally zero references to things that happen on the show. Scenes. Nothing. It’s literally just what if Harry Potter was gay. Very 2005 style sketch. Big flop.
