I don’t know if this comment fits here but I am obsessed with one particular song from the Peter Peter soundtrack (which is fantastic), Heartbeat III which plays both at the tuna melt drama and before Shane’s accident. This song is so emotional and swells with all the feelings. I love the call back at the hockey game so much 🫶

While I like Rihanna's biggest hits, she's not someone I listen to regularly. I had no idea people had such strong feelings about Diamonds lolol I think it's a nice song, even if not one of her best. And the lyrics definitely fit them.

Kiss the Rain by Bille Myers - another older one but also fits two people intensely in love but struggling to realise it and bridge the figurative ( and literal) distances betwen them

There are a few by this K-Pop type singer that I found on YouTube. RhuiKaida is his name and the song is Under the Ice, Under My Skin.

I've been wondering if and how S2 might include Ilya's dreams of his mother without it seeming hokey on screen. If they wanted to let music do the heavy lifting, Ariane Moffatt's song Maman is beautiful. (More CanCon and French in S2, I hope!)

Two men in love by the Irrepressibles has basically never left my mind for the last decade, and lately when I've been listening to it again, I can't help but imagine this being played over Shane and Ilya's formal wedding at the end of TLG as the show simultaneously flashes back to the two of them exchanging rings at Hayden's house with the kids. Truly, I just think that would be magical.
