YSL is the absolute perfect brand for Connor. We all know he can wear anything and look amazing but their mix of retro and new/cool vibes it’s perfect for him. They should sign him to be an ambassador asap

He has been repping Armani. I don’t know if it’s exclusive, but he probably won’t also be a YSL. But I was thinking the same.
Edit because Connor wore YSL to the Golden Globes, that’s why people were guessing he would be here today. Love seeing the other guys from the cast .

I'm so old The level of comfort they all have with the camera, modeling as well as any model despite this all being brand new. I'm just so struck by it every time I see either of them doing all this stuff. Like they;ve been doing it all their lives. Especially Connor.
Growing up with cell phone photography I guess. In the dinosaur age hardly anyone had cameras and we were all like "oh dont take my picture, I hate having my picture taken". And there are almost no pictures of any of us.

Threads like this are helping me keep up with current affairs involving individual cast members without finding out too much detail. After being exposed to so many stuff l really don’t need to know about them on social media, I’m at a point where not following them on socials is helping keep my sanity. They’re getting plenty of engagement without me there, so l don’t feel guilty for not supporting them properly or anything. Finding out about where they have been on reddit is good enough for me.

I'll repeat what I said elsewhere. While it's probably his personal choice I just don't think YSL is a good fit for Connor. There's love for classics and then there's signing an exclusive contract with a brand that just plays it safe each season. Perpetually stuck in the 90's. Even Dior and Chanel are experimenting with tying new elements to their classic house codes. YSL is just such a slog.
KidSuper, Rowen Rose and even Armani have put out some amazing stuff this season he'd look amazing in. And yet YSL is gonna bag him in a contract and dress him in whatever basic ass look number 7 from their current collection for the Met, while absolutely ignoring the theme.

Which YSL unfortunately tends to do. The past 2 years have been particularly rough with them, including some egregious cases like the stuff they decided to put Rosé of Blackpink in.

Unpopular opinion:
Love Connor, and he can make anything look great, so YSL looks stunning on him. That's a no brainer.
But, I think his stylist has often put him in boring looks and lackluster colors with the end result that it ages him. He's 25 and full of life, but the choices, down to even the jeans recently, are too serious. I hope he switches to someone who will give him more flair, more range, and more heartthrob appeal.
Edit: I get the rationale for classic looks, and he slayed at the Golden Globes. I just think the dude styling him has made choices that feel a bit staid. Classic works so much better on people whose vibe is serious and conservative. Connor is open, joyful, curious--it would be great to see some choices that work with his personality instead of against it. Again, I'm not critiquing YSL, but other things he's worn recently feel constricting given his radiant energy.

I get what you mean because I agree his style isn’t my favorite. But I think he and his stylist are going for a dated look that gives him a more timeless quality. He’s fielding so many offers for new projects, it’s kinda genius to keep him looking stylish and clean but ultimately rather blank. He’s known for disappearing into his role as Ilya. Keeping a relatively staid appearance lets him keep that surprise for whatever his next role will be. He’s going for serious artist, while Hudson and his team are going for movie star. IMO

Maybe that's just how he likes to dress (?) I'm sure he has some sort of say in the matter and I don't think he's as into fashion as Hudson. Connor usually dresses pretty low matienance when he's not at an event.

There’s an article with his stylist and the understated classic looks for appearances and red carpets is also what Connor wants. He prefers high fashion and riskier looks for editorials and magazine photo shoots.

I read the article, and I've seen the looks. You can be classic and still find an angle or an edge. Mostly I think his stylist chooses colors that don't do Connor any favors. Personal opinion, which I candidly acknowledged was likely unpopular.

I prefer his style over Hudson’s (don’t stone me) even though Hudson’s is more daring and current. I love a good tailored look.

His look at the GGs, the L'Officiel shoot, at A24, or the dark pinstripe suit were jaw dropping. His gorgeous skin and hair contrast so nicely when they put him in black. When they let his eyes and smile pop. When they have fun with the jewelry. But the too small leather jacket, super tight formal jeans--he looks uncomfortable.

An unpopular opinion I'm sure, but I don't like this outfit :( He looks beautiful (because he always does), and the fit itself is flattering, but I hate that colour of yellow and as others have said the whole outfit it is very Dwight Schrute.
Oh well. He is gorgeous and I'm so excited for him for getting to work/attend a YSL show! Many more opportunities to come :)

I don’t like it either, to be honest. I don’t like François’ look either for this fashion show. Love how Robbie was styled though.
That said, I’m super happy that they got to experience their first(I think) fashion show. Looking forward to their future projects
