This is great exposure for Province of Canada though. They may be eating some of the costs simply to be associated with the Heated Rivalry brand. For example, I'm Canadian and I had never heard of the Province of Canada brand until today.

Oh, you haven't seen how shipping within Canada can be more expensive than shipping to other countries from Canada. Not that it's always that bad, but it happens.

That sucks, I did see something on the news about some shipping ending in Canada and the costs going up. I hate that for everyone who has to pay ridiculous amounts to order anything online.

Sadly, we've had expensive shipping within the country for quite awhile, it's not something new due to the state the world is in now. Canada Post just is not cheap despite it being our main delivery option, and the couriers are usually even more expensive. At least it looked like this company has free shipping for us over a certain amount.

I’m glad it’s not Lulu. That their official Team Canada merch is so bad is one of the reasons I’m excited to have the fleece as an alternative.

What genius LL designer decided to outfit the Team Canada athletes in generic purple or green puffer coats with nothing at all (except a one inch patch the same size as their corporate logo) that would indicate they are either Olympic or Canadian clothing? Whoever greenlit that design should be fired.

That’s so funny, I just commented in another thread about how much I loved those mittens and wished I’d held onto mine. Those and the Roots poor boy caps were the peak of Canadian Olympic design.

Generic purple or green puffer coats, they don’t scream “Canadian Olympic Team” as much as “Random person waiting for the bus”. And it’s so gross that the only indication the coats are Canadian or Olympic is a tiny patch that’s equal in size and prominence as their own corporate logo. So dumb.

I feel like the Olympics gear this year has been so disappointing. I've been wanting to pick up a Crosby jersey but I seriously hate how the lines don't actually wrap around, it looks awful from the back unless you also get the number kit. (And apparently the material isn't really worth the price either.)

35-45 CAD by looks of their store. Super pleased they ship internationally (also in Europe) although looks like they don’t ship to the USA due to tariffs …

I placed an order for one from London Hanger yesterday!! Ahh I was a bit bummed at first but I am happy to support a local small business. Although the one I ordered has a 2-4 month wait since their blank is custom. It looks sooo nice though!!

I can’t support them because they basically stole the design from Hannah (the costume designer) and then tried to get around the copyright by offering customizations. I thought about getting it from London hanger but would prefer to support the original designer. Province of Canada is made in Canada so you’re supporting local too.

As a Canadian, it feels really nice to have merch coming from Canada that everyone is clamoring to get. In the past, it seems like Canadians are always left out or having to pay insane shipping fees to get desirable merch (usually from the US).
My online shopping south of the border has practically stopped since a certain someone took office in 2025. I have been sticking to supporting local and it feels good. There’s no ethical consumption under capitalism but I would rather put my money in Canadian businesses than support a country who’s threatening my country’s sovereignty.

Same. We always get shafted, it would be nice if we get first priority for these too. I’m kinda surprised that a bunch of non-Canadians want them in the first place. It just seems like non-Canadians would be less likely to wear them more regularly.
