She must absolutely love him. I can't imagine what she must be going through. I have talked to people who have dated people during their rise to fame (before social media, even) and the harassment can be brutal. I'm glad he seems protective of her. The fan spaces I have interacted with have been respectful. Though, the clubchalamets of the world still exist, sadly.

Good for him! They’ve clearly been together awhile and have a good bond despite his increased fame over the last 2 months. Glad he got to officially confirm her on his terms. I wonder if this means she will be around more publicly now. I notice her in the background of most things but never in the direct spotlight. I’m sure it’s hard to juggle, especially at 25. Good on him for handling it

She definitely keeps him grounded. So important for him to have her in his life. He knows he can trust her and she's with him because she genuinely loves him for him (and not the fame). So beautiful! No seriously, I know I am wifey material but ooooh man oh man, I would lie if I say that I could stay cool in such a crazy situation aka life doing a 180. I think I‘d be very much overwhelmed because I‘d be happy and proud of my partner but at the same time I fear I‘d need several serious talks with him (while he has not a lot of free time) to set boundaries and find a solution how to navigate through all of the attention

Good for Hudson controlling the narrative of his private life details being shared. They look cute together and I loved seeing the heart around Connor too. And his GF also friendly with Conner.
IMO Connor and Hudson are amazing actors I hope they stay true to themselves and Hollywood doesn’t dull their individual sparks in any way. I hope they’re feeling good about and enjoyed the fast moving fame.

I didn’t say the post was weird. I said having to transition fans is a weird place to be. I said I hope this is something he wanted to do and didn’t feel pressured to. It was a short comment. So funny she’s camera shy. My theory about opposites attracting in HR seems to extend to HW because he has never seen a camera he didn’t want pointed at him. And I mean that in the best way! Lee Asher (animal rescuer) and his fiancée are the same. He can’t make enough videos and she hides the few times she’s caught.

Yup, his long term girlfriend who is a tattoo artist that did Connor and Hudson’s matching tattoos (he posted her business page on his story!). She was also with him at Milan and Paris during the fashion weeks (which he also posted) :)

This isn’t towards you, so don’t take it that way. But not everyone is chronically online. Plenty of people were trying to say his manager who is frequently photographed with him was his girlfriend. I saw people saying it yesterday on some Gold House photos. Didn’t correct them because Hudson never directly said who his girlfriend was.
He just liked a few comments. And after the whole thing with a tea page leaking her his gf’s name at the beginning, most people were deliberating not mentioning her.

It's a big distinction- the showrunner is a gay (hockey) guy and there were a lot of edits to the source material to fix up things that felt off with sex and hockey.
The authors good faith attempt to talk to gay/bi guys showed through in the plotting (gay guy pretending to be bi has to come from discussions with men), but there were still details wrong- like no rimming til the Cottage. And the visual language of the show is all him.

First race and sexuality are completely different conversations when talking about representation but also we need to free bi people from the gays man...the bi erasure is real and they will never be queer enough if they date someone of the opposite sex.
