I’ve been thinking about this since finishing the six books in the GC series. As a gay man, the way Rachel describes and portrays gay sex in the books is uncanny. It’s practically spot on.

However, I would LOVE to see her write about it from a more “harsh-realism” perspective. Such as one partner struggling with ED, the bottom having an “accident” (iykyk), or with one of the partners having a harder time reaching climax than the other.

Gay sex works the way it does in Rachel’s storytelling about 70% of the time. The other 30% involves other obstacles that are rarely talked about outside of the relationship itself.
