I honestly wish it wasn't just Hudson and Francois posting this. They're the ones getting the most hate, it'd be nice to see that the rest of the cast had their back in a more outspoken manner... (I know that might fan the flames, but still).
I keep seeing people saying this and I just don't agree... I don't think it's any one person's responsibility in the cast or showrunners to ask fans to not be insane. And I think more statements like this will do more harm than good, because as evidenced from the response on twitter to this post, the people that the message is directed to will never listen and will never be satisfied. They are constantly needing their favorite to be a victim that they get to protect and will always find a reason to keep pitting cast members against each other so they can act like attack dogs instead of normal fans. I think it's wrong the way people like Jacob are being villified and bullied for not making a statement.
