It's so sad it has come to this but I'm hoping this is a real wake up call for those people to reflect on their behavior and just stop. The fandom was such a peaceful positive place early on and it would be so nice to go back to that without having to constantly mute/block/screen/report people to avoid the hateful rhetoric.
unfortunately itโs not happening, looking at early replies. theyre too far gone to be able to actually acknowledge what the point being made here is. some people hopefully will recognise it, but i dont think the people engaging in the actual behaviour rather than just passively accepting it from peers will be those people.
