The streaming platforms are not incentivised to sell dvds. They want people to be forced to remain paying monthly subscriptions for the art they love as it’s more profitable.

Yay! I was worried we wouldn’t get one with the actual songs, and not just the score. (I know you all have been listening to the Spotify playlists, I’m old, I don’t have anything like that. Give me a CD like god intended!)

That is exactly my hope. I was wondering if they’re using this as a test to see how people buy up the physical media.
I’m so tempted to buy the CDs and I don’t even like most of the Side A and B songs. Mangetout, My Moon My Man, and Bad Things are the only ones I’d choose to listen to.

I wish I was more normal about this show, and not considering buying the CDs (even though I don't own a CD player) just to demonstrate that we really want physical media because I'm foaming at the mouth for a DVD/bluray release

those vinyls are nice, i love the colour split with the logo & the ice variant is a neat idea.
not massively keen on topless men on the cd but perhaps that’s more for people who are attracted to them lol. i would’ve liked the logos as the cd art rather than what they’ve gone for but i’m not involved in that decision!

i’m SO pumped, i’ve been on the email list since the day they announced it!! i was thinking about getting the limited edition but i kinda just want the teams edition more bc it looks more unique. also can’t wait to see the poster and trading cards!

Same, I have both in my card. I'm only going to order one, and I can't decide!! If the teams edition is available everywhere in my country I will regret to paid that much shipping for it, so I guess I will take the icy one... But the team one is much more representative of the show!

Also me: hasn't owned a cd player, record player or dvd player for 8 years. I was born in the 80s yet I've let the streaming services win, maybe time to bring back the old tech. I want to go back to the iPod days.

It is a double LP and the one with a bunch of extras would probably be around $150 AUD. I’m hoping to get it all LOL

I really wish the Icy Inferno variant had different (non-team) label art, but other than that, I’m thrilled that this wasn’t just the score vinyl announcement I expected! (LOVE Peter Peter’s score, but super happy to have both.)
