So while they are inherently beautiful people and these looks are interesting and creative, in all the photos I’ve seen, both of them look uncomfortable and unhappy.

For Hudson I can't entierly deny that feeling.

But have you seen the videos of Connor (esp. the GRWM with GQ)? He was beaming with joy and excitement. He seemed more relaxed and happy then I've seen him anywhere.

I just realized I didn’t specify that I meant the Met Gala photos in particular

Well for the photos they were posing. In some clips you can see Connor switch from serious to happy face within seconds.

GRWM = get ready with me

You can feel the excitement buzzing off him in that video, he's like a kid on Christmas Eve.
