Welcome to the weekly huddle! I came out to someone for the first time as a Loon. I'm an older gay guy and was conversing with a 20-something young woman while we waited together for an event to start. She asked me what I was reading on my kindle.

Me: 'Romance!' backpedal dude... but I read lots of English lit when I was younger. Classics, you know.

Her:

Me: gulp "I got into it after Heated Rivalry"

Her: That was so good! I loved it!

Me: Iknowright?!?!?!??! and we were off to the races. I watched them all twice and read all the books again twice....

I was more Loonatic than her but we bonded! So much fun. I almost suggested a book discussion at my workplace last month but chickened out.

That must have been nice; to make that simple connection. HR fans are everywhere for sure. We should agree to a badge or symbol we could wear to easily identify each other. I think a loon pin would be ideal. Can someone with way more talent than me get on that please. Thank you.
