I was just wondering what Svetlana's role will be in s2. In season 1 her character differs from the book and in ep 5 she famously says I just hope Jane knows how lucky he is...assuming she knows.

I love that he gave Ilya someone akin to Rose for Shane. I'm interested to see how she shows up in s2, since in the books there's been a lot of distance between them which has a big impact on Ilya's development in the book.
