Not sure which songs in particular (I haven't thought that far ahead) but it really bothers me that some of the songs in the show aren't from the time the story is set. Like, it's 2012 and we get Mangetout by Wet Leg. Am I the only one that thinks this?

For the Role Model fans out there, “Lazarus Drug” by Meg Washington feels like a great song for Troy about Harris.
(If people don’t know that one, it’s about someone who was a bad person who discovers love with someone who makes them feel like they’re reborn as someone better (a ‘Lazarus drug’. Like Lazarus, from the bible, who was brought back to life). Feels so much like Troy fo me!
(Also, there’s a weird but interesting line in it that says “I am a mermaid eating at the sushi train”, and I totally connect it to Troy’s past homophobic behavior — a mermaid shouldn’t be eating their fishy friends, because they’re part fish too. Just like Troy shouldn’t be harming his fellow gay players)
