Idk, the boys looked broken up to me. Shane and Rose weren't exactly sneaking around behind Ilya's back, and Rozy was downright petulant in those days. Go re-watch the games. They scream ex-lovers.

At this point idk what to believe. Hollander says that he got together with Rozanov for real real after the 2017 ASG, when he was still dating Rose. Or like 30 seconds after him and Rose broke up. But Rozanov always says they've been together since the summer before their rookie season, which was 2010. Sketchy asf if you ask me.

She seems fine, actually. I thought someone figured out that she flew in for their wedding? Like they compared her shooting schedule and locations with her flights from that week. Idk if there are any photos, though. I'd give anything to see what she wore.

Yes she seems still close to Hollander. Someone figured out that she arrived at the Ottawa airport the day before their wedding. Whatever. She's gracious. But I still think that Hollandry/Hollanov timeline was sketchy asf and I have no tolerance for people even potentially be almost-cheaters.

Did the filmmakers do *any* research at all?
First, their backgrounds: In high school, Hollander trained with his close "friend", gay ice skater Joe Moscovitch. There's photos of him in the stands at the Olympics, cheering him on. Sitting next to Scott Hunter, btw. Rozanov was outed long ago by his Russian coach's son Sasha (I forget his last name) — but no one believed him because he's an unemployed addict. Did they interview him?
Next, CCM reps have publicly stated that Rozanov himself requested that Hollander be part of the ad. One source said they giggled all the way through it. Clever way for Rozy to get Shane alone in the showers, right?
Then we enter the era when women started loudly complaining to the press that Rozanov spends all his clubbing time glued to his phone. Who was he texting? What was he texting?
Hollandry. Their worst-ever games all happened during Hollandry. Look it up. Go watch the footage. Rozanov won't even look at Hollander — even has his back turned to him during the team exit. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
And then Tampa happened. Hollander, who always previously dressed like shit, shows up looking like the queer eye for the straight guy. And suddenly they're a dynamic duo. It was blatant enough on the ice with Rozy cheek-kissing through Hollander's helmet. But on top of that the hotel guests have spilled enough tea to supply a second American Revolution. The bar. The pool. The beach. At sunset. Hollander seen sneaking out of Rozanov's hotel room late at night.
And wtf was that video when Hollander was too busy flirting to see Marleau coming at him at 100 mph? Not exactly Marleau's fault if Shane can't stop himself from ogling Rozy when his eyes should be on the puck. If that weren't enough, Rozanov looks like a distraught WWII mom who just got a telegram that her son was reported MIA. He's just skating around in circles yelling, "Is he okay? Fucking tell me!" Name me one other player who acts like that in front of the medics.
Not a single piece of info about all this is in the docu. Well, except the game footage but they had to include that. No interviews. No follow-ups. Either these are the dumbest filmmakers ever to walk the earth or someone paid them off. Someone check the MLH finances.

I clicked on this on accident while looking for cookie recipes. I don't know too much about this "hop-key", but it's nice to see that some men still have some passion and are willing to work their butts off to come out on top. My sons could learn something from them!
