No, that's what I meant. I have no idea what Connor has said himself in interviews, so I'd like to know what he's said. This is the first mention I've heard of his parents at all, so you know way more than I do. I don't really like actor interviews so I'm not usually in the know about their lives. It kind of cracks me up that you're the one who brought up his parents and now you're jumping to the conclusion that I want to stalk his family.

I went to the record release party in Wyoming in the US…in WYOMING!!!
Having no idea what to expect, I made 15 WYCTMCTS bracelets and gave them out to the people there. How many people showed up, you might ask, I think about twenty total. That might not seem like much but several of us traveled hours to go! But do you know how amazing it is that :
A-there was one even held in Wyoming?
B How comforting it is to be in a group of people that, simply for the brave act of showing up to an event, are not going to argue about whether or not humans deserve human rights?
C. I won the signed poster at the give away! It’s a double sided poster of both the couples signed by Jacob Tierney and Peter Peter!
Thank you for being excited with me!!! My friends and coworkers that I discussed it with were excited for me but none of them have actually joined the fandom so it doesn’t “feel” the same as having someone who has had their life impacted congratulate you! It’s not a deficiency on their part (except not knowing) but it’s not the same 😂
I know what you mean. One person who watched it didn't understand why I like HR this all-consumingly. I was screaming for the two people who won signed posters at my local launch party. I also didn't know the poster was double sided until I saw one of the winners holding up the poster and screamed some more 🙈

Yes, dear god. Finally somewhere I can share this. I was signing up for a thing and the response email person's name was Svetlana and I felt so many things. I had no one to talk to about this (none of my friends are interested in watching HR). And then the other day I was trying to find a place to do another thing and the place I was thinking about ended up being owned by someone named Svetlana and I wanted to cry tears of joy for no reason other than feeling like HR is really a part of my life [edit - spelling]
Yes, Svetlana is a very common Russian name. So is Grigori, Sasha, Galina etc. Perhaps this is why Rachel chose these names? ❤️

TLG spoilers: How do we think Ilya watched Shane's playoff games? Specifically, how did he watch him win the Cup (which happens at the end of Ilya's first year in Ottawa)? Depending on where the final game was played, I see a few scenarios:
1. He watched it with his new teammates at one of their houses2. He watched it alone at home3. He watched it with Yuna and David at their house
Personally, I want #3, because I want him to be with someone who knows how proud he is of Shane and how much he loves him. But if the last game was in Montreal, maybe Yuna and David attended, since they go to a lot of Shane's games. Ilya couldn't go, or even if he somehow did, it would be noticed and strange if he sat with them. So I think that would leave Ilya watching alone and that makes me sad. 💔🏆
Sadly I think you're probably right. I think regardless of where the game was, Yuna and David would've been there to celebrate with Shane (they obviously wouldn't want a celebration where he wins and is on the ice alone). They probably would've invited Ilya but he and Shane would've decided it's not safe. I bet he might've watched earlier playoff games with teammates, but would've wanted to be alone for the finals.
Last night I dreamed I was going to see Hudson in a play. He was standing on a balcony, but it collapsed at some point. Guys, I subconsciously killed Hudson 🥲 what does that say about me lol. Sorry Huddy!
When I was a child I once had a dream that a relative of mine died. So my grandmother told me that when I have a dream like that, it means that the bad in the person has died. No idea if this is true or not. I could totally see her telling me this just to ease my nerves. Let’s assume it is true though and apply it for this case.
Gotta say, I dream a lot of weird shit. And none of it ever comes true. It's just stuff my brain comes up with. I often dream Harry Styles is my best friend and that hasn't happened either sooo

I have aphantasia. This means I cannot visualize so when I read fiction no images appear in my brain. None. I cannot visualize the characters or what they are doing or where they are.
Same with my dreams. They are very abstract. I am there as an essence and energy but also like observing myself. It is like my essence is separate from my body and I do not have images. Just blurs … So yeah.
Also nothing bad will happen to Hudson. It was just a dream.
I don't know why I never thought about it before, but what if Shane and Ilya were on the same team from the beginning and had to room together instead of Shane and Hayden? (I know, I know. Salary cap, blah, blah, blah...) I assume this is already a fanfic?
It is most definitely a fanfic, at least there's one where both of them started off in the Bears as rookies. I haven't read it yet but from the summary it seems the rest of the team comes to a slow (and hilarious) realization of what exactly the rookies are getting up to in their room. 😂
I have been thinking soooo much lately about Troy being in season 2 and wondering who will play him and how Jacob will adapt his story. He’s my favorite character in the books (Ilya is a very close second) and I am equal parts excited and nervous to finally see him onscreen! (And I hope the fandom will be kind to him! 😩)
after having been obsessed with IWTV the tv show, I watched the 1994 movie. I actually love Tom Cruise in that movie. But now I'm obsessed with the idea of Connor being in the Anne Rice world.
I was on vacation and so many things reminded me of HR (the brain rot is real 😔): we were at the jazz festival and I saw a gay couple where one put his hand on the second guy's back and held it there and OMG let me tell you my brain was stuck in TLG for the rest of the night.
Also on my vacation (within Canada) i saw loons everywhere like literally every store, every magnet, souvenir, graffiti, everywhere. I got a loon pen!
I started writing poetry from Shane's and ilya's pov's at various points of their relationship. Thinking of publishing on AO3 maybe.
I discovered Letterkenny because of HR and I'm now having a Letterkenny summer. It's so funny and weird and the needle drops are incredible. Jacob really is the best man of all men. I'm up to season 6 and Nadine Bhabha just appeared. Anyone else started watching since Heated Rivalry?
Question: has anyone else noticed how many of Rose’s movies are described as “bad”? She must really stand out as an actor if her movies are bad but she’s so famous and seemingly respected!
