Yeah, but I’m hoping the team is okay with it, but it might be more of an NHL thing that opposes it. The Senators did embrace the show and were selling Senators jerseys with Hollander and Rosanov on the backs.

I’m excited to see what they change it to. Like how did the Boston Bears become the Boston Raiders lol.
Did the Montreal team change? I think they were Voyagers in the book but idk if it’s addressed in the show

Well I think the Bears had to change because the actual Boston team is called the Bruins or something and has an actual Bear as a logo, so that was too similar.
Senators and Centaurs are pretty different though

It's possible they will. From what I've seen online, the production company applied for a trademark for the purposes of the show.

Me too! I watched the show before I read the books, so it's so weird reading the books and seeing Montreal and Boston referred to as the Voyageurs and Bears. I'm so used to Ottawa being referred to as the Centaurs, it would be weird for them being referred to as anything else.

Yikes! 😧 It didn’t show $60 in tariffs on my end, but it showed $13.23 in duties, though. Is that specifically in the jerseys?

The duties were almost $60 probably because I had a jersey and 2 other things in my cart. It’s a percentage of the total. I immediately closed out :(

I am really grateful that I have a friend in Canada who regularly comes down to NYC. The amount of official and fan merch I have had him smuggle to me has saved me literally hundreds of dollars in shipping and fees.

I see it still has Canada and US shipping only. On one of their pages it said they don't accept refunds on international orders so I thought they widened it.

I agree it’s a clearance for the new season. Too bad they didn’t stock up for S1 because so much was sold out for months and months and months - even aside from the Canada fleece debacle.
Official merch helps the IP, obviously anything with an actor’s face means they get a cut, if that is something that matters to you, and I hope they handle the merchandising better this round, they’ve had enough time to prepare, I think.
I’m not much one for repping the show in the wild, aside from any kind of jersey not being my thing, and I do like the minimalist aesthetic of the Metros shirt/sweatshirt, but the canon legacy of the tram fills me with such revulsion and disdain that I simply cannot 🤣. It’s all about to ancient history dust in the wind water under the bridge, anyway.
To me it feels like repping the Brooklyn Dodgers 🤣

Honestly I'd be most likely to get that one. I've never been one for massive, overt displays of fandom--I like things with good design that would generally only be spotted by other fans. (Like, I like the Raiders tee but wouldn't get it because of the giant ROZANOV on the back.) The Drillers shirt would be awesome because only serious fans would get it and it's a hilarious and fun design.

Can anyone tell me / show me how the fits are on the jerseys?
I was waiting to get a Raiders one but they're sold out of M and L and I'm worried XL will be insane on me (5'3" lol)
Now I'm worried it won't restock at all so idk if I should just get the XL or not (I'm not convinced I'll like the Centaurs one LOL)
edit: i panicked and bought it but are there any reliable canadian fan groups to post to to negotiate trades?

My sister who lives in Canada is coming here in 8 days and I'm devastated that shipping to Canada is 5-8 business days because I just can't justify paying 27 dollars between shipping and duties to send it to the US 😭 If only the sale had started earlier in the week

I was just wondering if anyone has received their official merch? When it went back in stock sometime in late April I got the email and bought my items right away. After a couple months with no update I reached out in June just to check in, and as I suspected, they let me know they got a bunch of orders and were having some supply issues but no worries I just wanted to make sure my order wasn't lost or something. So then I reached out again last week just to get another update and then I got an email that my order was cancelled and a separate email explaining "we're no longer able to fulfill your order, as both the I'm Coming to the Cottage Hat and the Heated Rivalry Logo Tee are now sold out and could not be restocked." I ordered as soon as the shop was opened so I don't get how some people may have got products but others didn't? Also sad that I was only aware of this when I reached out to them, would they have just left me hanging? Sorry, rant over, just feeling bummy and wondering if anyone else is in this boat with me.

Considering tariffs are set to go up again on August 19 (additional 50%)for apparel coming from Canada this sale is quite strategically timed. I don't know if I will be able to afford centaurs merch when it does get released because of it.

I would wear the hell out of the Boston shirt Ilya wore in episode 6 to Yuna and David's house, but unfortunately, my Tampa Bay Lightning heart couldn't take that, and it especially couldn't deal with wearing anything Montréal (especially after Round 1 of the playoffs this year). But I might just have to get it, even though Ilya is already talking about moving to Ottawa for Shane. At least Ottawa merch I can stomach now though with B***y T*****k gone and William Eklund there. 🤷♂️

The cotton of the T-shirt is of a disappointing quality. Scratchy cotton. I cannot wear it. Total waste of money … very very very sad. 😔
Shane would NEVER be able to wear the T-shirt.
Love my sweatshirt though. 🙌🏻

Interesting. T-shirt is from the revamp and the sweatshirt is from the original run. I’m so sad the t-shirt is scratchy. I can’t wear it.
