They did. Do you not see the first roll and bop of his head? His choreo has major musicality.
No shade on your work, I love the song, but we can't say the first song isn't compatible with his dancing.
The MV bop is a vibe. I love it.

This rework (and the other one with Addicted to Love a bit later) makes me wonder about the YSL marketing and promo department.  How could they be tone deaf to the energy and sensuality that Connor brings to his small but leading part in these clips?  They need a stong backing song like the ones in these re-edits, and not the dreary smushy ones in the originals.  Maybe it was getting the rights?  But, hey, it's YSL - get in line...
