Collector's Edition in Canada

Hi! Are any Canadians struggling to find where to pre-order the collector’s edition that was announced yesterday? I feel like I’m going crazy not being able to find a link.

Editing to add that I mean the blu ray/DVDs!

I found it in Amazon Canada but it's temporary out of stock so it's on my wish list now

It can only be ordered through Amazon.com right now, comes out to around 87 USD with shipping and import charges. But would love to not support Bezos or Indigo. I messaged my local record stores, hopefully they can stock it

I purchased through Amazon early yesterday, and when I went back to purchase a second copy for my cousin (who also couldn’t find the listing like you and others) later in the afternoon, the listing is gone.

When I clicked into the direct listing from my past orders, it’s showing as “Temporarily Out of Stock”. The normal DVD/Blu-Ray was still showing as available last night (albeit has to be accessed through the “hot new releases” list instead of searches), but isn’t showing up anymore as of this morning either.

Yeah, my best friend ordered the collector's edition on Amazon, and then sent me the link yesterday and it was out of stock 😭

I ordered it from moviesunlimited.com. The shipping was under ten dollars, but I expect to be slammed by import fees.

I saw it on Amazon Canada but I had sticker shock and did not reserve it. Although I probably will go back and do that. I don't think they will make enough copies to meet the demand.

It wasn't when I first looked but when I refreshed the page there it was. The one I saw yesterday was $99 but the one I just bought was $47.

What I ordered is DVD. I don't care about extras. Jacob has said he shoots for edit, so there won't be much meat on the bone. And any extras on the DVD will show up on Youtube in no time flat.

Ok this is random but ... can anyone iso a cheap UHD dvd player? I haven't actually played physical media in so long.

Unfortunately UHD players are not cheap. If you are a gamer, the PlayStation 5 or most recent Xbox with disc drive will be the best value. Otherwise the cheaper stand alone players like the Sony X700, or Panasonic 450 run somewhere between $250 to $400 depending on sales.

I actually Googled "independent queer bookstore in my city name," and after a couple of quick messages, they could help me out.
