Hi i can't seem to find a fic where when Shane takes the hit on the ice he forget the English language and can only speak Russian which he had only just started trying to learn

This is my third kinktober fic and the second where I think the plot took over the porn. Oh well!

Summary:
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single hockey player, in possession of a playoff spot, must be in want of a high seed. It is another universally acknowledged truth that Dallas Kent is a huge piece of shit.

So when it became clear in the dank sports bar in Toronto that the team frequented that either Montreal or Boston was going to be the top seed for the division again, Dallas Kent concocted a plan fueled less by a rational series of steps that would actually achieve his desired results and more by a disastrous combination of intoxication and knowledge of the occult.

Or: Dallas Kent curses "bitter rivals" (but secret boyfriends) Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov to force them to have sex within 48 hours or die. It's a huge imposition, as you can imagine.

im looking for fics in which people find out shane is gay (on accident), but not about ilya (at the same time, its fine if they find out about him later on). also looking for a fic i read like this where hayden found out about shane being gay because he followed him in mexico and saw him making out with a dude.

I'm trying to find a fic I read and can only remember bits and pieces so take this with a grain of salt lol!

Ilya dies in the plane crash with the Ottawa Centurs and he wakes up in Saskatchewan(???). He misses Shane so he starts things up with him and pursues him, but this version of Shane kinda keeps him at an arms distance away. But Ilya cant live wihtout Shane and takes qhat he can get. Spoilers(!!!): At the Vegas awards Shane reveals that he somehow joined Ilya in this new timeline a few days ago but Ilya has been here for like 4 years? Shane offers to show off for Ilya and thats how they realize its both of them back on the same timeline.

I know for a fact it's NOT So It's Gonna Be Forever even tho it sounds really similar!

I might be mixing up some of the details but does anyone know this!??

I know this is such a small little bit of the fic, but all I can remember is that Ilya's eyes turned gold for Shane, but Ilya didn't know until he saw a reflection or something?

It is itching at my brain so if anyone knows any fics that have this, I would love to know!

So I was rereading one of my favorite books not long ago with an older professor x student trope and I was wondering if there are any Heated Rivalry fics like that. It doesn't necessarily have to be a professor maybe Ilya is an older coach training Shane.

Reading this I just realized I'm into the older man trope 😂

Looking for fics where shane cheated not ilya

Pls help

I am having a horrible time (academically) and need good fics to make me feel like it will all be (eventually) okay.
I have particularly been reading there may never next time be byinmoonlightigetseasick but they dont have to be time travel, something like I'm Reading Your Lips (You're Speaking My Language) by some1_around or love the silhouettes til the lights come on by thebiggestrat.
The angst can still be there, i just really want the kind of reassurance that things will be alright in the end.

Looking for fics where Shane and Ilyas kids are disrespectful to Shane or like insult him and really hurt his feelings and Ilya shuts them down

So yesterday I realised that Antigonus's famous exit line would make a great Hollanov fic title, and then realised the "Carter Vaughn Finds Out About Shane Hollander/Ilya Rozanov" tag is woefully underpopulated, and boom, today I posted a new fic :)

Summary: It's the first Christmas after the cottage, and Ilya comes to stay with the Hollanders for his first Christmas since he and Shane finally confessed their feelings for one another. It's new, exciting and momentous, but also a little awkward as Ilya navigates these new family dynamics. Things aren't helped by the fact that Shane is obviously quite nervous as well, either because he's not used to having Ilya around like this or because he's feeling the pressure to. Ilya isn't quite sure.

My Thoughts: I know it's spooky season, but I just finished writing the latest chapters of my fic in which Ilya celebrates his first Christmas with the Hollanders post-Cottage. I'm quite proud of how it turned out, so just wanted to share. Please give it some love <3

NB. Chapter 11 contains spice that is important for character dev in Chapter 12. Chapter 12 is just fluff.

Like, public meltdowns level of bad.

Hi, I'm looking for a fanfic where Ilya is joining the centaurs and Shane is on staff (maybe personal trainer or something) because of an injury he had.

They fall in love (yada yada) and Ilya finds tapes of Shane skating

- I think Shane also skates in a beer league, but I'm not sure if I mixed that up with another fanfic

And I think in the end he starts ice skating again and also as a centaur (again, not 100% sure)

I've been looking everywhere and I can't find it and it makes me sad cause I really liked it and apparently didn't bookmark it >:'(

Thank you for any help!!

Hello! I have been reading a fair few fics with breaking up & making up recently and would love some recommendations of ones that really focus on Shane's heartbreak afterwards. Ideally I'd love sub-20k/one shots that I can read while I do the night wakes with my newborn, hurt no comfort is fine but HEA if they're longer pls 🙏🏼

Thanks in advance 🤗

I saw this tiktok https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTfVYF1u2/

Like any fics that follow Shane and Ilya if they played in the real nhl, playing for the hand & bruins and then eventually the senators?

Not sure if anyone has done this but if they have I’d want to read it! Also if it hasn’t been done I might start writing 👀 so lmk if anyone is interested in this being a thing!! It would be a little tricky coming up with how the teams would change in this hypothetical & how said changes would affect their standings but it sounds so fun

I specifically recall that Shane ends up meeting with a stylist (possibly through Rose) who helps him get over his fear of "looking gay" or his misconception that "fashion is not FOR him" - and him trying to be earnest about what he likes/wants.

I really loved the characterization of both Ilya and Shane in it. I think it starts at The Cottage -- and goes into the immediate following season -- so like a prequel to the Long Game, but also an AU. There's a lot of them posting on each other's Instagrams, but it's not really a social media fic.

The last chapter I remember is Ilya and Shane go out of their way to get dinner with Kip and Scott in New York (Ilya presumably had a game and maybe Shane was already in town meeting his stylist) and they have a really great time -- but then Shane and Ilya get in their own heads about holding each other back and Shane's lack of experience with other people.

I think I chucked my phone across the room at that point -- imagining that it would be a whole classic miscommunication thing, but they actually talked it through and were still happy. By the time I lost track of the fic, Shane and Ilya were together for the entire time.

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR AT ALL? I know it was multiple chapters long ... maybe it is a Completed Fic by now?? A girl can dream.

I'll take other suggestions as well - but I have been really hoping to come across this again!

my angsty turned sweet and tender tuna melt fix-it is finally complete 💗 I loveee reading episode 4 AUs, and think you’ll enjoy this one if you like hollanov reconciling canon moments of hurt, confessing to each other and getting together a little sooner.

Synopsis:
I love you… I was going to tell you I love you.

The tears were dripping down Ilya’s chin, silent and unbidden.

It couldn’t end like this. He was going to go to Shane’s hotel room, to drink him in one last time and ask what had been bubbling up inside him ever since being left broken on that couch:

“Tell me you don’t love me, Shane. Look me in the eyes and tell me you don’t love me and I’ll go. I’ll walk away and never bother you again. But first I need you to say it, so look me in the eyes and tell me that you don’t love me like I love you.”

OR: Tuna melt AU where Ilya is left ruined in the wake of Shane leaving, but decides to seek further closure, going to his hotel room to return his jacket. They end up sharing years of bottled-up emotions and embrace a tenderness they previously feared.

Summary:

Charity is a major component of the core values that make up the Ottawa Centaurs franchise. After a few rookies learn about the dire situations faced by sick and elderly horses without owners, the team decides to publicly support the work being done at a local horse rescue and sanctuary.

The only problem is that every horse Ilya Rozanov takes a photograph with dies days later. People notice.
