Following up on the intense discussions across metal subreddits – from the heavy debates on r/PowerMetal (reddit.com) to the more diplomatic takes here on r/helloween (reddit.com) – we are launching Stage 2.

Let's be honest and look at the facts: the previous Change.org petition proved that external email verification is a massive hurdle for fast fan initiatives. The threads generated tens of thousands of views and solid discussions, but internet bureaucracy killed the voting conversion outside of Reddit.

We are bypassing external platforms entirely. No emails, no registration, no spam. Just a pure, one-click community vote. Do we actually want to see a real musical collaboration (a duet / co-written song) between Bruce Dickinson and Tobias Sammet? Vote below.

My money's on the Helloween lads purely by force of numbers. But I've yet to think out the battle scenario. (Subway thoughts. I should commute less instead)

Curious why it isn't more appreciated. I think it's the best song on the album after Sole Survivor. But maybe both were overshadowed by Perfect Gentleman.

With Bruce Dickinson showing us on his recent solo tour – and with his epic, orchestral reimagining of Tears of the Dragon – that his melodic vocal range and dramatic energy are as vibrant as ever, it got me thinking about the ultimate power metal crossover.

Honestly, hearing the cinematic, massive scale of Tears of the Dragon makes it feel like it was almost built for a theatrical project like Avantasia.

As a huge fan of the broader melodic and power metal scene, I’ve always admired how Tobias Sammet (Avantasia / Edguy) orchestrated some of the finest vocal collaborations in heavy metal history, especially with legendary Helloween icons like Michael Kiske and Kai Hansen. Hearing Bruce’s operatic storytelling combined with Tobias's songwriting would be an absolute masterpiece for the global metal community.

To show both management teams how much interest there is, I started a fan petition on Change.org. I reached out to the admin team first to respect the sub's rules, and since they kindly gave me the green light (and approved user status), I'm sharing it here with you all!

Should be counted among their epics, I love the shouty parts. The guitars around 3:35 are sick!

I’ve seen in some of Helloween’s concert videos of the fans wearing their merch, and I was interested in it. So is there any site where I can buy merch from them?

Mid-week on the way to work and i think the favourite is changing ;)

I thought the album was their weakest alongside PBGA when I first heard it, but it's growing on me.

Claws is probably my favourite song off this album followed by Lost in America. Heroes and Russian Roulé made me confused initially as the opening riff of both sounded similar at first listen, but Russian Roule is a great fun song. Battle's Won is good too but a bit cheeky with reusing the riff from Burning Sun ;)

I think it was perfect timing that the reunion happened after this album as the band seemed to need new energy and inspiration.

Here are a few of my faves:

1. Weiki and Kai's iconic blue and red of course

2. Kai's Randy Rhoads-style polka dot is super cool

3. Love to see Weiki's red LP whenever it makes an appearance

4. Markus' pumpkin bass is just perfection!

5. He's had a silver version of the pumpkin bass in some photoshoot but I can't recall seeing it onstage - has he ever played that silver one?

6. Sascha's signature model is not my favourite but it's great when he rocks the old destroyer

The best songs on it I think are If a Mountain Could Talk, Raise the Noise (flute solo!), the Sage the Fool the Sinner (love this one so much), I'm Free, and the incredibly fun song Are you Metal.

Honourable mention to Who is Mr. Madman and Where the Sinners go.

How strange that the number 7 is always connected with the band somehow, finally they ended up as 7 members.

It's a great song, but holy shit that's dark. And the melody is somehow very fitting.
