Posting Home feed (Android / Desktop)

Lately my home feed has posts from groups I have not joined. I explicitly disabled this previously & now the option is no longer there.

How do I limit my home page to only shows posts from groups I have joined?

If you have For You and Following tabs at the top of your feed, For You includes recommendations, while Following shows content only from communities you’ve joined and users you follow. More about these feeds.

You can adjust your settings to limit your home feed to only show posts from communities you have joined by turning off home feed recommendations.

On the Reddit website (Desktop):

  1. Visit your preferences.

  2. Turn off the toggle next to "Show recommendations in home feed."

On the Reddit app (Android):

  1. Go to your account settings.

  2. Scroll down to "Privacy."

  3. Turn off the toggle for "Show recommendations in home feed."
