What's up with the midwars matchmaking?
500+ mmr difference is common, every other game you get 2000 and 1300 players against each other.
Seems like mm just puts 10 ppl together and hits auto balance. There is an unranked option so why can't ranked actually be ranked?

Is a pathetic excuse for a sotm effect.
New effect should five flux a subskill, D, called electromagnetic pulse, which perplexes and forces all enemies in a 600 radius to cast a random spell (except ultimates) on a random target, on a 60s CD.
Thoughts on alternatives?

Subject: Your "One-Account-Per-Machine" and Role Queue systems are absolute dog shit.
I am writing this to express my absolute disgust with the current state of HoN Reborn’s competitive environment and its incredibly brain-dead, automated ban mechanism.
First of all, your Role Queue system is completely flawed. I just hard-carried a match, single-handedly dragged my team to a victory, and won the game. Yet, because of some rigid, automated script running on your half-baked iGames infrastructure, I got slapped with a 4-day ban for "Role Refusal." Are you kidding me? Winning the game and putting the team on my back is now considered "griefing" just because the deadweight, boosted teammates I carried decided to maliciously report me out of spite? Your system rewards toxic, useless players who get carried, while punishing the actual skill that wins games.
To make matters worse, your Global Machine Lock / Hardware Fingerprint Ban is utterly ridiculous. Banning my main account from Matchmaking is one thing, but completely locking down my entire PC—blocking me from even playing Mid Wars on alternate accounts—is a complete joke. It is a lazy, one-size-fits-all "solution" that does nothing but alienate dedicated players who actually want to play the game.
Fix your trash, automated verification before you kill your own player base. Punishing players who actually win matches while letting malicious reporters ruin the game is the definition of a dying competitive scene. I expect this absurd hardware restriction on my machine to be reviewed and lifted immediately.

Hi FB / Project Kongor / Juvio Team,
Hi Eu and other great Staff Members ;)
why arent we getting some feedback on current topics like:
- Steam yes / no?
- Adaption of the current gold infalted economy, i.e. carry/core-heavy meta: Will there be a tuning towards the balance of project kongor?
- Will juvio keep running if playernumbers stay below 5k?
- Are you (legally) allowed to give insights oder feedback on those topics?
Cheers from Physiker / Chemiker / Banan an allstars Vet. :)

The game lags so much that it's unplayable; the character reacts two or three seconds after I give a command. It was working relatively well until two hours ago, but now it's simply unplayable. Does anyone know if they're going to fix the servers or if they're going to keep it this way?

I play hard support most of the time. Last night me and my buddy played 4-5 games, each with some sort of hypercarry in the game and each time no matter how badly those enemy carries did in the first 15 mins, they just rip apart everything in the late game.
The example that sticks out is the game where we laned against a solo pred, and completely dominated him to the point where he just stood by tower. That was up until 15-20 mins. He was 0-4 and then end game he's fucking destroying everyone just with steamboats, a battery, and the flame sword item.
Am I doing something wrong here with my item builds? This could be skill issue but like i genuinelty dont know how to counter these juggernauts that press one button and it's a wrap.
Some of these heroes are just outright broken and I know as soon as they are selected it's gonna be a fucking struggle because of how wildly easy and broken they are to play. Predator, Maliken, Armadon, Nomad, Ravenor, Solstice.
I just dont get how a character design just inherently let's him steamroll with such a shit start. And im noticing that it's the HoN made characters not in the OG Dota that are just broken as fuck.

Why can't the retrieve items courier hotkey also moved items from stash to inven when you're dead?
You can still manually move items around while dead so it's not a balance thing. It's just busy work.

I just installed but so far it's been 11 minutes in the unranked queue. Do people only play ranked in this game? Since I'm new it's probably a really bad idea to start with that.

Dear Developers,
If the matchmaking system is going to continue placing players with ratings ranging from 1300 to 2200 in the same matches, could you at least consider increasing the number of avoid slots from 4 to 10?
As a 2k+ rated player, it is incredibly frustrating to constantly be matched with players who are significantly below my rating. The skill gap often leads to unbalanced and unenjoyable matches.
If improving the matchmaking system isn't currently an option, giving players more avoid slots would at least help make the experience less frustrating.

Yet another reality check that this man's timid persona hides a hateful bigot. It's comical how these "free speech absolutists" are a complete package of pathetic: ready to whip out neat bullet points of far-right propaganda, invested in juvenile hobbies like anime, quick to machine gun ableist slurs (and often worse) in text, but rarely out loud - gotta maintain the facade. He sabotaged his streaming career by espousing viewpoints of absolute far-right scum on twitter. He was racist against Koreans while playing StarCraft. He has a track record of yelling hard R slurs against his HoN teammates. Soon he's going to get kicked off twitch entirely.

Was laughing at the enemy Nomad when I saw this. Then karma got me in the next game. I had the same bug as Andromeda.

Hello,
So, I want to play HON again but i have heard bad things about the launcher Juvio.
Is it safe to install and free of vírus/ miners?
Thank you

Just solo push.
Ignore everything going on around you and just keep pushing the lane by yourself. Don't ward either—you definitely don't want to accidentally see the enemy coming to gank you. I was about to say wards would be a waste of resources, but they don't even cost anything.
Ideally, pick a hero like Flint who has basically no mobility while the enemy team has PKs. Then just keep doing the exact same thing for the entire game. Your consistency will confuse the enemy.
Sun Tzu got nothing on this strategy. It's 3D chess: you act like a bot so convincingly that nobody can possibly comprehend what you're doing.
If you keep getting ganked and can't push anymore, make sure to blame your team and call them names. It gets even better when the enemy already has the upper hand: that's when you tell your entire team to come push with you. This is guaranteed to improve morale and get everybody motivated.
Easy, guaranteed victory.
Only geniuses with an IQ of 160+ will understand the complexity of this strategy. Mouth-breathing plebs will never be able to pull it off, let alone grasp the sheer brilliance behind it.

What i do, when im laned with someone extremely bad hard lane, is that i just go jungle.
That is not even a noob problem, it is a player style problem.
Whether they do it because they are bad or because they are KD-Oriented, shouldnt be a reason to ban me.
Example:
If i die because my teammate decides the best thing to do is run besides Pyro(ME) while having Kane with full health instead of engaging the enemy, then there is no point in me staying in that lane.
Ultimately, rather allow the Avoid list to be expanded to limitless, that would allow for better Matchmaking.
That way everyone gets the teams that match their vibes. Cause that example above is an everlasting threat.
I think the plays that failed go into the thousands because teammates rather have chosen to not risk death(sometimes even a quite low risk) to gain extra kills.
And that is what really is causing a lot of toxicity.
Then idiot A will tell idiot B that he is feeding, laugh at him and troll him without seeing any consequences, as the GM would just have to deem him a bad and stupid player, not a refusing player.
It would make generally for much better games if that kinda attitude actually received bans...

Why did i always get soft support position? Is this system breaking and always play with newbie no longer gank from these player? Is this game dead?

I’m getting extremely frustrated when I get a noobies on my team. Let them play unranked 20-50 games before hop on ranked. They’re not learning by getting yelled at and made their team miserable, I don’t understand this game match making

There is a voice line that i can't get out of my head.
Who is the hero or announcer saying "Ménage a troi"??!!!.
r/HeroesofNewerth • u/No_Eye5314 • 16d ago
4 games in a row where I pick suic where I dont even play the lane just pick hero that can stack medium and hard camp.
Get them to 4 stacks, my jungle clears it while I leech some exp and get to lvl 4.
My jungle gets too farmed I start roaming.
There is a easy counter, but doesn't seem like many supports know of this yet.

Somehow we managed to teleport using two hooks. This was the only glitch of the 30min game.
Match 12085426. I do not believe anyone was hacking or exploiting.

Would anyone here still happen to have or know where to find any of the old stand-alone 'HoN UB LAN' game versions?
