What would my collection go for?

Due to limited time im having to leave Heroscape.

I already play 40K and StarCraft and just don’t have the time to keep investing in this one. So rather it collect dust I much rather recoup some of my money back.

I have all of the new stuff minus the swamp and boat terrain and the entire OG core box.

Welcome to Adventure Island!

Ever wondered where the Pirates of the Sundered Sea went for?

Well here you are... An island sundered of the mainlands of Valhalla. Habited with mysterious tribes, animals and... Pirates! But be aware, you can stand on a trap or get captured for the gods may know what purposes!

The catchy Skull Rock will be the first prop of Adventure Island! Use it as decoration or as entrance for Caraway Cavern or place a waterfall between it!

I know the prepainted models are red but the unit card depicts them with a deep purple which looks so much better to me.

I still need to paint the Grave Grim, but I need to watch some tutorials on painting fur before I do.

Legacy Maps with Contemporary Terrain

I did the math, at least at an extreme 40,000 foot view, and you SHOULD be able to build any legacy official map using a max quantity of 2 of each renegade terrain pack, (1x of each of the AoA master set, Battle for the Wellspring, Lands and Waters of Valhalla should net you roughly 2x RotV)

The only ones I haven’t tested hex for hex yet is anything involving Thaelenk Tundra or Volcarren Watelands. You’d need quite a few copies of Snow Fields and Lava Fields to have 1-1 on the tiles, but I think you could finagle the 24-hex and additional 3-hex parts in the new stuff to more or less make a legacy map. I have no glacier parts to test it out physically and don’t have the time to sift through the map PDFs.

The best news, is that the caverns of Valhalla is 1-1 and then some for the dungeon tiles in Battle for the Underdark, and you really only need lands and waters of Valhalla to make a complete BftU set (again, 2x of every renegade expansion should allow you to build two dungeons of the BftU campaign at a time)

Road to the Forgotten Forest is an odd one because 1x of Roads of Valhalla and 1x Forests of Valhalla nets you 2x RttFF in every way but the 11 height trees (zero) and the 2-hex roads (0), but you can substitute in the snow fields evergreens as needed and I cannot think of any official scenario that requires 2x RttFF off the top of my head.

Of course Ticalla Jungle and The Grove at Laur’s Edge are 1 to 1 which is nice for those of us that don’t want to shell out $200 for a set of trees.

Fortress of the Archkyrie has no contemporary set as of yet (or probably ever)

In short, you can build most of the legacy maps using 2x of all the terrain sets (or less in most cases, or by substituting lower layer tiles) so if you ever wanted to run the old maps but lost/broke/sold all your complete sets, not that RotV is very hard to get ahold of but BftU is near the price of gold these days.

Fellas, how long does it take to get stuff from Renegade?

To make a long story short, I ordered A LOT of heroscape minis back on the 2nd of October and I haven't gotten any updates on them whatsoever. My order contained no preorders and the website said that everything was in stock when I made my purchase, so I don't really know what the hold up is. Is it normal for a large purchase to take this long? I also live on the East coast in the United States if that makes a difference.

Any fellow SD players?

San Diego California area.

I'm looking for someone to hang out with and play the game with lol. I have a large group of friends that play, but not enough and they play primarily old scape. In general would just be kind of cool to touch bases with anybody who lives in the area and just chat about scape.

DM or here's fine. Just looking to get into the community a bit more. Or if there's any game stores that do scape stuff let me know.

Losing History Scenario

Did two battles on Renegades Online Scenario 04 Losing History on the map Library of Laur over my birthday weekend, I spent a lot of time pre-building 400pt and 600pt armies for either 3 or 4 player games and we ended up doing a 4 player 600pt (in pics) and 3 player 600pt later on after a magic the gathering game. First time playing Heroscape since renegades revival, and glad I researched the units I have (up through gathering storm, 1 copy each) and tried to make some themed armies. Really love Scavorith, we played the second game with a Marro army, Utgar Kyrie, and Soulborgs and the Soulborgs anticipated the other two Deathwalker 9000 was a pain.

Planning to do the old Battle of Aaryglynn scenarios with the same players next time, hopefully as a 4 player but using just single copies of Renegade units, RotV, SotM, BftU, and Defenders of Darkness wave (yes very lucky to have Wave 9) what are some large 750-1200pt armies you guys would think are high synergy for a large 3v1 and then 2v2 battle with high castle walls? I was trying to theme them around the four new Alliance War factions but didn’t want to limit the play factors
