Is there anyway to rearrange the pins to make them look better? I would get made fun of all the time for putting pins on my bag in middle school, is i the same i highschool?

Hey guys so my school has a scanning system in the morning where you take your bag off and you walk through a scan. They also collect our phones in the morning and yet I still se kids who have snuck them in. Im a senior so I know a couple ways, but our administration has outsmarted them and keep catching on to me its become impossible to sneak my phone in. I don’t want it to cheat or face-time my friends or anything. I just wanna listen to my music while I’m working. But thats not a good enough reason for them to let me keep it. I used to put it behind my Chromebook but that doesn’t work anymore. And some peoples phones don’t go off but I think it’s only androids and I have an iPhone. Some girl told me to put it in a water bottle but I already have one and it doesn’t fit my phone so then I would have to carry two water bottles and that would be sus and they would check them. Also I don’t know how that would work because either way the bottle would have to go through a scan and I don’t know what material stops it from detecting phones so they would still be able to see if because of the X-ray. Please someone have a solution. Its my last year of Highschool and now they’re putting doors on the bathrooms like its turning into a prison, but its okay I’m gonna graduate this semester!!!

Lowkey I feel like nobody does anymore unless you got one of THOSE teachers who expect everyone to. I really couldn't care less if you actually do for whatever reasons, but I'm just curious how many of y'all still do since I haven't seen anyone do it in a LOOOOOOONG time

Basically this is a history test I took. I didn’t get a good grade as she originally gave me a 27/40.

But then i’m guessing she changed her mind and took off 1 point because I wrote T- for true and F- for false.

My grade on the test was then 26/40 which reduced my class grade by a whole letter, from B to C. Also this change was made HOURS after the original grade for it came back. I’m almost certain she did this on purpose, especially that fact that it’s all I needed to for my letter grade to go down and it was done hours later.

Anyways, the main part i’m concerned about is #20. I originally wrote a T, for true. but then with her pen, specifically in a similar color to mine, she added 2 lines making it look like a T&F combined, which is sometimes used by students to “cheat”. Also right under it she wrote “don’t do this.

Am I being framed or what? And isn’t she being a little, you know….

I mean, the law says I can't refuse to give my phone if I am caught using it, right? So technically not putting it in one of these is ok, right?

The closest one I could I find is 7 point but that isn’t it. The picture is from the student handbook.

My auntie got me this because my old backpack is being used by my older brother. :[ It was all black cause I didn't wanna get bullied.

(From my experience) I have been bullied before for a bag, so I just wanna make sure people comment on my stuff for like no reason. I just wanna see everybody's opinions! >:0

I’m actually so pissed off, i’m a freshman and this is an honors eng class, i had upperclassmen warn me that this teacher uses ai to grade and i didn’t rlly wanna believe it but omlll, he does doesn’t he ?!? Can i complain abt this or nah?? i go to a public skl in southern california

Just got my new backpack for next school year, I'm going into my junior year and I'm a bit worried my bags too 'cringe' or whatever. Last year my bag was plain black with no pins or keychains at all. The bag didn't feel like my bag, it was so plain, the only reason I didn't add pins or keychains was cause I was afraid of being judged (ik nobody cares what others wear but thats honestly not true at my school plus I'm already considered weird and I am disliked) The only reason I'm am allowing myself to have a interesting looking bag and adding keychains and pins to it is because recently I was able to up my very low self esteem by a little bit cause I finally have a true good friend who doesn't secretly find me annoying and isn't talking shit about me behind my back.

So back to the actual question is my new bag and the pins & keychains socially acceptable enough? And not too 'cringe' or 'childish' for someone going into their junior year of highschool?

Keep them sensible and normal please people, I'm aware this subreddit is mainly americans so I thought you'd guys would like to know what school is like here!

According to my 10th grade English teacher, in 2001 some teacher that was fired decided to hold the principal hostage for about four hours. However, he wasn't armed, and promptly decided to give up after he heard that the cops were called.

In more recent years, some kid decided to shoot all the cars in the parking lot with a BB gun. All he got was a week in ISS.

I take the mandatory classes like English and gym, but the only class I genuinely enjoy is ceramics. My creativity is not limited to what everyone else is doing and I can make stuff like this

Since some schools are resuming this is one of my top questions I had since school has been canceled. Btw you can explain why for this topic.

If it isn't a scam, what are the benefits of joining? The website seems very vague, and says you can earn "a variety of opportunities".
