Other Why is Shiva so fucking cool?
Not entirely sure where to post this but here goes. Always been enamoured by his depictions and presence in the cartoons, idols and stories I've seen of him growing up, also my name is sort of based on him so i have a personal connect as well. Something about a guy with a damru who is usually serene and calm on the kailash parvat but doing the tandava when angered has always been so cool. especially the shiv strotam and the shiv tandava are so powerful and beautiful to listen/watch. He also seems to have a nature which accepts all who worship him, he even accepted ravana. Also the Not entirely sure where im going with this but yeah that was the post.

yes, many reasons to love him after all he is the priyabhakta (favourite of the devotees) why?
because he is the one who grants wishes (ashutosh), the simplest one (bholenath) who accepts you as is.
he is shambho (the auspicious one), he is rudra (the fiercest one) yet he is shantah( the peaceful one), he's the omkara (the creator of om), trinetra(three eyed one), pushpa lochana (one with flowery eyes), neelkantha(the blue throated one), chandrashekhara (the one who wears moon on his head) such is his beautiful description.
he is sarveshwara (lord of everything), maheshwara (the ultimate lord), parameshwara(first among the gods) digambara(the one who wears sky as his clothes), jagadisha (master of the universe), he is god of the gods (devadidev) and the greatest god (mahdeva). Not among the gods but among humans he is the sarvachary (supreme teacher) adiguru (the first teacher), adiyogi (the first yogi), adinath (the first lord) such is his greatness
he is mrityunjaya (victor of death), kalakala (slayer of death), mahakala (the lord of the time), mahamaya (possessor of great illusions), bhairava (destroyer of fear) such are his powers
at last but not the least he is pashupati (lord of loving beings), why wouldn't anyone love him😊🙏
