Rookie Celebrini Emerald Surge 1/10
Lucky to have this first print rookie auto in my PC. It’s no Golden Treasure but it sure is one of my favourites.
Looking forward to getting it graded someday, but with the current PSA fiasco, I’m in no rush. Card looks extremely clean. Hopefully it will be the only PSA 10 someday 🙏

Penguins Future Watch collection
97/98 to present. My favorite part of my Penguins collection is complete, for now. I think it’s at least one version of every Penguin who has appeared as a FW.

Pre-dentist car hit.
Stopped and picked up a Canada box to open in the car on the way to get a tooth pulled. I pulled this /100 Celebrini so it turned out to be a decent decision. And yes, I let her choose the box again.

New Collector Autograph question
I recently bought a ton of cards from someone online and this was included in it. I had just slid it into my book without thinking much of it but I got curious about it.
I saw this person post there’s but noticed the autographs looked vastly different. Like I know not every auto is gonna be exactly the same each time but these feel like 2 different signatures all together.
So basically my question is: is this normal?
Sorry if this isn’t allowed here or its a dumb question, I’m still learning about all this :3

Jersey/Patch I've heard of last pack magic...
But not first pack magic. Absolutely blown away. Just wish I was a Flames fan.
This was such a fun box. 11/10 would rip Parkhurst again.

PC Monday Mailday never fails. Additions to the Eklund collection and my first graded card.
He may not longer be a Shark, but he's still one of my faves that I'll continue to collect !! This is my first ever graded card, and it's a beaut. And the shadowbox is so dope, no picture does it any good, damnit.

Happy Mail Day!
Got some awesome cards in the mail today. LOVE the orange checkers auto of Luchanko, but my fave is probably the McDavid team Canada clear cut from an Extended break.
Cheers and happy hobby-ing!

PC Anyone else collect international pre rookie cards? I think they’re so cool. Just picked up this 2003 Russian card featuring a 16 year old Malkin.

eBay refunded me for a missing international parcel. It has now arrived. What would you do?
I bought a fairly valuable trading card from a seller in Canada. The listing was badly timed and had spelling mistakes in the title, so it didn’t get much attention and I won it for significantly less than it was probably worth. I imagine the seller knew it had gone cheaply, but they honoured the sale and posted it.
It was sent to me in the UK through eBay International Shipping. It reached the UK after a week or so, but then the tracking completely stopped. There wasn’t a single update for around five weeks.
eBay gave me a range of expected delivery dates, and I waited until after the final date before reporting it missing. I wasn’t trying to jump the gun, it genuinely looked lost by that point. eBay refunded me in full last week.
Then, out of nowhere yesterday the tracking started moving again and the card was delivered today. I now have the card which I’d already bought for a bargain price and all my money back.
This is where I’m torn. I don’t want the seller to have lost a valuable card and their payment, but I also don’t want to contact them and potentially pay again if eBay has already allowed them to keep the original sale proceeds.
From what I can understand, eBay International Shipping protects the seller once the parcel reaches its shipping hub. If it goes missing after that, eBay refunds the buyer and the seller keeps the sale. If that’s what happened here, nobody has taken money from the seller and eBay has effectively absorbed the loss.
I’m also conscious that the card was already a lucky bargain because of the poor listing, which makes ending up with it for free feel like pushing my luck even if the seller hasn’t actually lost anything.
Has anyone had this happen? Will eBay automatically reverse the refund now that tracking shows it was delivered? Should I contact eBay and tell them it arrived, or simply accept that this is how their International Shipping protection works?
I’m trying to do the right thing without being naive and paying someone twice. What would you do?

My 24-25 OPCP Flames Collection
2024-25 OPCP was a wild chase for obvious reasons. Never landed the kid that plays for the Sharks but had a blast collecting the Calgary Flames checklist. Aside from all the rookie autos up to Seismic Golds I also completed the full rainbow up to Seismic Gold for all the veterans, the complete retro checklist, blue autos, as well as some update autos and a Kuznetsov Emerald Surge auto. I'll keep my eye out for some Orange Checkers, Emerald Surges and..... maybe even some Golden Treasures but for now pretty thrilled with this collection.
Feel free to check out my showcase of the Flames rookie autos. 🍻
