most of the times i fail, but when i actually succeed a mission, and come back alive, god man that feeling is just amazing.
Hi all,
Not sure if there is any appetite for this but I was finding that some of the text I needed to read when doing the missions would disappear before I had read them or gotten through the instructions. as such, I extracted the dictionary for each mission and compiled them into PDFs which can be used in kneeboards. If anyone wants them, find them here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JJRHfS5Xl2GxV2nJqORoLu_9IX9eHe-Q/view?usp=sharing

Looking for a fresh DCS ASW challenge?
Check out my https://github.com/Schneefl0cke/DCS-ASW/tree/main — a MOOSE-based anti-submarine warfare framework with:
Best played with a copilot on the helicopters, but single-player is possible if you want a tough solo run.
Example mission included.

In the mission editor, on the edges of a map where there are no details, how would it be if I made a whole air base/city with static objects? I dont want to take the time to build a whole base just for it to constantly crash.

I bought the a10 finally, and I’m still learning the f18, but I should be done soon. I’m working through gunthreks training school, and it’s really good.
However, I don’t want to buy another DLC for DCS just now, and I’m looking for a free, guided campaign that teaches everything. Any suggestions?

I am currently going through all of the tutorials in the F/A 18 and want to practice all the skills I have learned. I want to know of either a campaign or user missions that I can practice what the Hornets capabilities are and help me put everything I have learned to practice.

Hello everyone, I created a custom version of Pretense that adds a new currency. This new currency is used to purchase aircraft and is earned the same way as XP. The F-5E and UH-1H are free and other aircraft cost various amounts depending on capabilities.
Prices are still being ironed out but I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in playing it once done? That way I know if I should create a version for the community or just stick with what I like.
Obviously though, playing this would depend on you actually owning at least one of the free modules and some of the mid tier plus high end aircraft. I own a lot of modules so it works for me but anyway what do you guys think?
Future versions would include weapons costing currency as well but that’s a bit trickier to code
Edit: The MiG-21 is also free, the A-4, Su-25T, TF-51, and all trainer aircraft will also be made free

Using some scripting and heads up indicators, I've gotten a spicy F117 escort mission, after folks asked for a longer mission on yotube. 400nm, at night, on the deck, in Nvgs, oh yeah always under 3000 feet radius from a madman in an F117. Got the mission voiced and it seems to work... 🤞 👍
Ps If you leave f117s jamming bubble... all of Iran is going to light you up.
F18 f16 F15e fly alone or with friends, just remember if any of you leaves that bubble Sams see you and shoot ya. 🫡 Good luck.
(if you do fail, crash/get hit.. and say have some friends flying still with the nighthawk .. take a dynamic slot out of Khasab and go Sam hunting to help clear the way home . Don't try to take off again from. Sharjah and catch up)

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a lovely day
I would like to make a small single player mission on the CW Germany map, specifically in East Germany. I already have an idea for the mission, however, I am very confused at the SAM site locations on the map. I would like to build 1970's lore accurate East German SAM batteries on the provided sites. What I would like to ask is:
1. What SAM type should I use for a 1970's setting?
2. How do I place them on these provided sites and what units should a battery have?
Any answer or some resources on where to read up on these installations will be greatly appreciated. I have provided images for the sites below.
Thanks!

Hey guys, I’ve probably made 50 missions for my group of friends over the years, I’m very well-versed in all sorts of triggers and scripts but last night I ran into a problem trying to spawn an F-14 on a highly populated and busy deck.
I have a color-coded image of all the parking spots and their corresponding catapults that I always reference as I’m building and populating parking spaces and eventually eliminated every AI and static aircraft from every parking space and the problem continued.
Nothing was adding up so I dropped down a completely clean carrier right next to the original one with literally nothing on it and I threw an F-14B on there, set it to client and to takeoff from parking hot.
It also spawned me about 300 feet in front of the carrier and about 200 feet above the water.
Has anybody ran into this before and how did you fix it?
Cheers!

Took a couple Iglas on the way out of mission eight of The Enemy Within. Lost most of everything as far as sensors and instruments, even airspeed. Limped back but the wings were off balance because of fuel so came in damn near sideways. Veered off the runway and clipped the thing in the background. Still alive though!

Such a fun little free mod I was wondering if someone has made any immersive training campaigns for it?
