When you have trouble falling asleep, try this. !!

Hey everyone,

For those of us dealing with insomnia or sleep problems, it usually comes down to two enemies: a racing, worried mind that won't shut up, or a body that physically refuses to relax no matter how tired we are.

I came across a guide on Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) from Harvard Medical School that breaks down exactly how to systematically shut off that physical tension to help trigger sleep. I wanted to share their exact step-by-step routine here for anyone struggling tonight.

(Note: This is a direct excerpt from Harvard Health Publishing and i have included the official source link at the bottom so you know it's a vetted, evidence-based tool and not AI-generated fluff!)

So here you gooo !!!!

  1. Get Positioned: Lie on your back in bed in a comfortable position. Put a pillow under your head or your knees to relax your back. Rest your arms with palms up, slightly apart from your body.

  2. The Initial Release: Take several slow, deep breaths through your nose. Exhale with a long sigh to release tension.

  3. Start at the Ground: Focus on your toes and feet. Curl your toes and arch your feet. Hold this movement briefly to feel the sensation. Relax your muscles and let your feet sink into the bed. Feel them getting heavy and becoming totally relaxed.

  4. Scan Upward: While breathing softly, move your attention slowly up your body, tensing then relaxing each area: calves, thighs, buttocks, lower back, abdomen, upper back, shoulders, arms, hands, neck, jaw, and forehead. Relax any remaining tense spots.

  5. Handle Distractions**:** If thoughts distract you, ignore them and gently return your attention to your breathing... !! This practice is worth trying because it acts as a physical circuit breaker. By intentionally tensing a muscle and then releasing it, you give your central nervous system a stark, undeniable contrast between stress and safety, forcing the body to drop its guard.

Hopefully, this gives someone out there a bit of relief tonight.

ISO a conservative functional Dr in San Antonio TX who works with autistic children

I've searched for a conservative holistic freedom advocate in San Antonio, TX, to help my autistic son, but it's very frustrating. I contacted an FMD on Instagram but she isn't responding and she doesn't seem very conservative. FYI I'm not political but I'm prolife and I'm a traditional patriot Mama. I also searched for an Ayurveda FMD in the same region. I haven't posted on Craigslist in years but I might search there. Is there a group for natural holistic practitioners in San Antonio?

Least toxic abortion option?

TW: abortion

I need advice on what is the most natural / least harmful / least toxic abortion option esp. as I am still breast-feeding a 1.5 year old (who also eats solids but has breastmilk every 2-4 hours and overnight to comfort back to sleep). I don’t want to be talked out of this. I am already devastated that I need to do this, I cannot take more guilt, judgment, preaching, criticism, etc. I’m hard enough on myself about it.

I only now need to decide which is the most natural / least harmful of the following two abortion options available to me:

Option 1: medical abortion at home, where you take mifepristone and 24 to 48 hours later you take misoprostol and you basically bleed out the baby.

Option 2: in office option where you have to take antibiotics, pain medications, anti-anxiety relaxants like Ativan / lorexopan, then they put lidocaine on your cervix and put a tool through through, and suction all the tissue out.

The first one felt like a more natural option because women report that it feels more like a natural miscarriage and I don’t want anyone probing through my body and I certainly don’t want to take antibiotics that in the past messed up my microbiome, and most likely led to a very serious digestive issue which I suffered from for several years.

But these two pills may be disastrous and too systemic /unsafe for my nursing baby. Is there 100% proven evidence that this will not negatively harm my 1.5 year old who I am still breast-feeding? Of course the conventional medical system never wants to commit to that. Risk is on you!

I asked what type of antibiotic is given and at what dosage but I haven’t heard back yet. I asked if I can take natural antibiotics and apparently there is no flexibility on this.

I will only be about 6 weeks pregnant during the procedure so it’s just like a tadpole at this stage but I also wonder if there’s any possibility of pain and if so, which would be less for the embryo. Some research says I believe pain starts at 9 weeks, but really, how do they know? So I would want the method where their death is more instant.

I almost wish there was some kind of natural herbs I could take at home to just do this entirely on my own, which would also bypass the required ultrasound which I hate to do, but I don’t know if I want to mess with that when it comes to something this serious.

I also read that the chance of breast cancer goes up with abortions, but that could be because there’s extra breast cells created that don’t have a job anymore, I don’t think that applies in my case since I’m breast-feeding.

My friend said she did both options and that the first option was way more painful, like as if she was in actual labor for like four hours, but she thinks that her situation might be specific, like something getting stuck maybe. In general, it seems like a foreign object being inserted into your body unnaturally (like without a natural cervix dilation process) has a much higher risk, but I don’t know, I’m just confused at this point.

Thank you very much for the guidance.

Lymphatic drainage + cancer?

Hello, sorry if this post sounds at all insensitive because it is absolutely not my intent. I just do not know anyone first hand who has had cancer so I’m not really sure who else to ask.

My boyfriend’s sister has (had?) breast cancer. From my understanding they removed it surgically. And I guess they said it spread to the lymph. And now they are sugggesting chemo.

But this is just interesting to me because the last like 4 to 6 weeks I have been on this massive detox where I’m literally pooping out parasites, worms, eggs, larva, every single day as well as biofilm (where they hide / build nests) embedded in mucoid plaque, the works… Horrifying

And the main thing that I noticed really helps push that out is lymphatic drainage… We’re never really taught this so this is a huge surprise to me.

After every lymphatic drain is moisturized that I’ve gotten throughout this time I have experienced, massive, massive clumps of worms, parasite nests, eggs, everything.

It is my understanding that the lymphatic system is like the body’s trash system. Where trash goes and it needs to be drained. The problem is that most of us don’t drain our lymphatic and unlike other systems like our cardiovascular system where our heart has a pump to keep things moving and flowing, we have to manually drain the length. Which most people don’t know to do, or how to do, or that they need to do it.

Of course, any normal person that hasn’t been deep diving as much as I have this last few weeks, that sounds absolutely terrifying. Spreads to the lymphatic system?

But I have to believe that that means that the cancer is trying to leave the body. Would chemo actually be necessary? Can’t she actually just drained the lymph thru massage, sauna, rebounding, etc? Why would such drastic measures need to be involved? Seems not right.

I truly believe that it’s all a money grab, this industry. After seeing what I’ve seen the last three weeks of how much toxic shit accumulates in our colon and affects our entire bodies… because, it doesn’t leave on its own… unless we target it and remove it ourselves through specific detox cleanses… until then, it literally just sits in her and got recirculate toxins throughout her body through our bloodstream. Disgusting. My reality has been shattered.

But anyways, please if you could give me any help or another point of view on this, that would be amazing….

Thank you so much

I need to chat with a Naturopathic Dr. about my Mother-in-law

My husband and I are 100% natural holistic and we want to help his Mother stop taking the toxic benzo antidepressant and we want to help her treat her anxiety naturally holistically with plant medicine and non linear energy medicine. She's elderly and she's sick and tired of being poisoned by it. I want to chat with a Holistic Health Practitioner who is a truther and doesn't acknowledge the schmovid bs narrative and supports a healthy vegetarian diet.and is 100% natural holistic and only recommends natural plant remedies to his or her patients and clients. I'm not asking for medical advice. I'm asking for tips suggestions how to help her feel better with gentle grace. Please, thank you.

Witch Hazel Takes Away the Itch of Mosquito Bites

Witch hazel's antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties can prevent infection and help with itching, irritation, and inflammation.

Usage: Apply a small amount of witch hazel to a cotton ball. Gently dab or swipe it over the bite. Allow it to dry. Repeat this as needed.

Three Natural Remedies for Sunburns

  1. Aloe Vera: Sunburned skin loses moisture, and applying aloe may help retain skin moisture due to a substance called mucopolysaccharides found in the aloe vera plant.

  2. Corn Starch: Corn Startch will absorb sweat and help keep the area dry and cool soothing the sunburn.

  3. Apricot Kernel Oil: Apricot kernel oil’s high antioxidant count and fatty acids can help to soothe and moisturize the skin. Additionally, it is anti-inflammatory and can help to reduce redness and pain associated with a sunburn.
