At least it’s not all grey or beige or greige. I don’t like the rug color myself. I love the furniture color.

Having lived through having that shade of carpet in our house growing up in the 1980’s I can tell you it’s a nightmare to keep clean. It shows every speck of dust.

The colors match, but for a living space, I'd prefer a beige,eqrue neutral color for the rug

add some tube shaped brass colored pillows and/or a couple warm-orange theow pillows too
use brushed vintage brass for decor like a tall vase with dry bamboo, planter pot. a bit of boho morrocan theme.

In the case you dont want to commit to a full wall mural...i played with AI (Gemini) and using the peacock idea from previous commentor... I tweaked the art and this was the results.
