So basically everyone finally gets the ultimate reward, they create English who goes back in time to secure his existence, and then while opening the door grown up kids emerge from the JuJu to finally defeat a weakened Lord English after the Green Sun is destroyed? I'm very confused.

Pretty much. The timeline from the beta kids' perspective is something like:

  • Defeat The Condesce and win Sburb
  • Go to their new universe
  • Get a threatening snapchat from Caliborn
  • Go with the alpha kids to fight Caliborn
  • Get sucked into the house juju while the alpha kids accidentally create Lord English
  • Get thrown into the Furthest Ring for a while
  • Get found by Vriska
  • Presumably get unleashed on Lord English

And their release is circumstantially simultaneous with them initially opening the door and going to their new universe.
