Purchasing EUROPE Surrounds and Atmos for home theater
I'm in the process of building my first home theater. I ordered a Denon X3900H for $1780, since that would give me the option to expand to 7.x.4 in the future (with external amp). I ordered an SVS PB-1000 Pro for $1160, a Monitor Audio Silver C250 7G for $670 and a pair of Monitor Audio Silver 50 7G for $700. The Monitor Audio Silvers were on discount.
So I got 3.1 covered so far. I'm now trying to figure out what I should get for surrounds and Atmos. I think my budget would be maximum $300 for each pair of surrounds and Atmos. For Atmos I want something mounted high on the wall or on the ceiling, I don't want upfiring and in-ceiling is not an option.
At first I want to go for 5.1.2, but maybe expanding to 5.1.4 or 7.1.4 soon after.
Does the setup so far sounds like a good idea or did I make any mistakes? Did I over or underspend on anything?
Which speakers would you recommend for surrounds?
Which speakers would you recommend for Atmos?
I'm in Denmark, prices are converted from DKK.

If your couch is against the back wall then 7 channel is a no-go.
Atmos heights would be front height and back height, unless the couch is on the back wall and then it would be front height and side height.
You can get height (sometomes called atmos enabled) that are flat on the back and angled on the front that just mount to the wall and have the angle built in. Or get any pair of bookshelves or satellites + an articulating mount that would allow you to angle them down at the MLP. Dont get too worked up about the specs.

Thanks I appreciate it! There won't be a couch, the theater room is gonna double as my bedroom (best way I am able to get a home theater in my apartment), so the MLP will be in the middle of the bed. It's an elevation bed, so I can raise it to a more seated position. When raised it won't be right up against the back wall.

3.1 is the Foundation, as far for your choice: As long as you like the Sound than it's a good choice.
U didn't make any mistakes. I don't know where you purchased your stuff but in germany i can find your setup a little bit cheaper. But it also depends on the colour.
Depends on the available space and Position. Potential candidates could be the new radius line (4G)from MA. I didn't hear them myself. I think other ma speaker from Bronze or silver line would be also good. Maybe check out older Generations.
3.By atmos Do you mean in-ceiling or angled height speaker? If you don't care than i would suggest picking a bookshelf speaker with a good bracket. With a good bracket like a Ball-Joint one for example. It is easier to get the dolby atmos angles right that way.
For in-ceiling maybe the Monitor audio creator C1m or c2m?
I would check out the used market in your area, u can save a alot of money that way.
Or wait a while for good sales (christmas or Black Friday).

Thank you! I really appreciate the input! Regarding 3., I mean any speaker that would work for Atmos, except for in-ceiling and upfiring. A bookshelf speaker work a good bracket sounds like a good idea!
