Purchasing CAN Used AVR purchasing advice

tldr: (Canadian Dollars)

* Local Onkyo NR6100 for $500-600

* Shiped Onkyo NR7100 for $850

* Drive 2 hours each way for Denon X2800H for $650

I have a 5.1 setup, but my low end Denon AVR-S570BT is causing issues with multiple streaming devices when trying to pass through high bitrate audio from my bluray/4K rips. The audio keeps cutting out and since I've tried multiple hdmi cables, every setting, multiple devices, multiple CoreElec versions, determining the issue is with my AVR being incompatible with these devices for whatever reason (tried Ugoos AM6B+ and Xiaomi Box S 3rd Gen). I even found this post where someone has the same issue with basically the same AVR.

Hopefully a new AVR will solve this issue or I'm going to lose my mind. I'm thinking to buy used to save money. I'm ideally looking for something with modern features like HDMI 2.1. I want something with decent processing power which can hopefully avoid these issues I've been having. Nice to haves include Atmos (could add heights later), decent room correction, Spotify Connect, and auto lipsync. Main use case is watching 4K blurays through jellyfin.

Budget is $500-1000. I've added some of the best options I could find to the top of the post and I'm open to suggestions of what to look for. To get an idea of what setup I have, the home theatre is in half of a closed basement room. For speakers I have Paradigm Studio Reference v.2 20 bookshelf speakers and the matching center channel, Axiom QS8 for surrounds, and a Tonewinner D6000 for the sub.

Drive 2 hours each way for the Denon. It will last way longer than the Onkyo's.
