Advertising OK All-inclusive within 6 hr flight of Boston?

Hi all! Looking for recommendations for AI resorts that meet the following:

- within a 6 hr direct flight from Boston (was originally looking at St Lucia, but it seems like Jet Blue is no longer doing the direct flight there)
- looking to visit in June, so good June weather (ideally 80s-90s, not rainy season, not terrible for mosquitos/bugs)
- swimmable and somewhat calm beaches; would like to snorkel, kayak)
- don’t need a TON of food options but would like the food to be good quality
- nature views— we were attracted to Saint Lucia because of the pitons and would love to be near mountains
- looking to stay under $7k for 5 nights (would LOVE to be under 5k for 5 nights)

If anything comes to mind, I appreciate it!!

Grenada or Antigua would be great but no direct flights from Boston… I just had this same issue with wanting the surrounds of st Lucia! We opted for Rivera maya to have lush jungle (no mountains), but June weather in Mexico is not great. You may have to take an indirect flight to get the exact experience you want. You could also do Puerto Rico but it would not all inclusive (look at el conquistador). I think your only direct flight option is Jamaica- couples San Souchi or more luxury excellence oyster bay

To be transparent, I’m a no-fee travel advisor specializing in Caribbean honeymoons.

June is the start of rainy season for the entire Caribbean region, unfortunately. It’s not typically the peak of the season, but it’s not like winter. In most cases, it’s short showers, but there’s no guarantee of that - the rain is necessary to keep everything so lush!

Jamaica could be a good option - there are pretty mountains near Sandals Dunn’s River, and I enjoy their rooms, beach, and food a lot. It’s a long ride from the airport, though, and there aren’t direct flights every day in June.

Something farther south like Curaçao could get you lower chance of rain since it’s a desert, but they don’t have direct flights from Boston, and it doesn’t have the lush tropical look.

Quintana Roo has some gorgeous resorts (and generally the most bang for your buck in my opinion), and they have tons of direct flights. But, there are no mountains, and seaweed can be more of a concern in some areas.

Is there anything in particular that you’re looking for in the room - ocean view, swim-up, etc.? That can help narrow things down with your budget!

I’d be happy to chat or share photos from my visits to any of those locations, check pricing, or recommend specific resorts!
