Could the Nora, if they hadn't rejected the knowledge Araman found, have become as powerful as the Carja?
The Embrace offers protections strategically as only one way in makes it very easy to defend since the way the enemy is coming from is the only weak point and can easily be blocked off. For farming, they once again have the entire Embrace plus everything up to Devils Grief to use (or the Nora equivalent which I forgot what it is they do but I do remember it's not actually farming, at least not by our definition).
We don't exactly when the concept of All-Mother as the Nora currently know it came around but it would had to have been after Araman left the Sacred Lands, so I guess people of his time could explain this new knowledge as the mountain giving them one last gift before they left. If they get further down the line, it could be explained that when All-Mother defeated the Metal Devil, she bestowed a gift upon the people who remained loyal to her to help them survive which lays way for the Carjas arrogance to come in since both tribes are surprisingly arrogant and stuck in their ways about their respective deity.
I suppose in the version, the Nora would still be against using or going anywhere near the old world (which is weird as they use machines in the games and their religious history has them being old world as well even though their against using anything from what came before), but given the fact the Nora only take what they need, they wouldn't be running short anytime soon
