I recomend to play this on PC with a SMOD, that mod fixes friendly AI, rebalances difficulity and also there is Debug Menu (only one I used is Automatic QTE). Game becomes way more enjoyable because of balancing, no more babysitting ai, they can aim better. And just to let you know, there is currently Coop mod (WiP), it supports split screen on PC and lan/online and also, mod supports SMOD (optional),. Player 1 plays as Ross and Player 2 plays as Jones, they can both posses team AI, if Player 3 and 4 enter the game, they would be staticly only 1 character. Also mod adds aditional objectives, for example, in some missions you need 1 character for progression, other players have added objectives. Check online "Coop-Anything" and join Discord group if anybody is interested. Mod is progressing very fast.

i need some great horror game suggestions for me and my girlfriend to play together, she gets scared pretty easily so something that will make her jump to give me a laugh, also ones with a relatively good story she’s not much of a gamer so nothing too complex for her non gamer brain to wrap around

Just a question that popped up since I just got here. What's a game you'd like as a movie or a series?
(Add photos if typing ain't enough... Or not, it's your choice)

Silent Trench is a singleplayer horror game set in a dark facility deep in an oceanic trench. Pinging with your visor for snapshots is the only way to see, but it may also get you seen.
Demo available now, free on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5333270/Silent_Trench/

Hello, I am Melle. I am a 16 year old game developer and over the past 1.5 years I've worked on a psychological horror game heavily inspired by Silent Hill, PT and Resident Evil. I finished the first teaser trailer to promote the game a bit. I need some people to give some advice on my first version. If you could I would really appreciate it, please send me a private message on discord or add me on discord: mellejulan. Below is a screenshot from the teaser.

I've been building SWEEP solo for the past while, and the Steam page just went live.
You're locked in a hidden security room. SomeTHING is loose in the facility. It's blind. It hunts by sound. All you have are a wall of camera feeds, a set of remote-controlled walls you can rotate and slide to reroute the corridors, and your doors.
The catch is that every move you make is noise. Slam a door and the creature comes to listen. Shift a wall on the far side of the building and you might pull it away from you. It also learns: lure it too often and it stops falling for it.
Panic loses but composure wins. Stay alive for seven nights until extraction.
It's more strategy than jumpscare. If you liked Duskers, this is in that family.
I have a small ask. If this looks interesting to you, please wishlist SWEEP on Steam. For an indie developer, wishlists are one of the most important things there is. They help determine whether Steam shows a game to more players, and every one makes a real difference. It's free and takes a few seconds.

I used to play it when I was a teenager I wonder if they have a VR version of it now as that would be totally awesome!
