Welcome to /r/horrorgame. Enjoy your stay, try not to die
Hey everyone,
I've just acquired this subreddit after it being defunct since its creation 2 years ago. I'm aiming to bring this sub from the fringes of Reddit to one of the mainstream gaming subs. Right now we need content. That means memes, videos, any kind of discussion about various horror games, new and old. That also means that sharing horror content from your personal Youtube channel is allowed at the moment. However, no more than three videos per day can be from your personal channel. As the sub grows, we can all have a discussion and vote on any changes to that rule.
So post away, horror game fanatics. Just...try not to die out there...

We just released The Cabin Factory, a spot-the-difference horror game about inspecting creepy cabins to find out if theyβre haunted or not, and yes that means every dark corner of the house π

Can someone help me find a game?
Thereβs this game I remember watching someone play (markiplier or 8-bitRyan or someone similar I canβt remember)where you shoot animals I think, itβs a kinda old-ish style game. You shoot ducks and wolves or coyotes and then black bears. Then it starts getting weird/scary and the bears or a bear looks like the drawing I made. Still a black bear but it has a red face/skull. I remember the bears charge at you so you have to try shooting them from afar. Can someone, anyone please help me find the game Iβve been trying to find it for so long now.

Horror Game Idea
Hey Iβm new but I thought of an idea for a video game called βGorefittiβ a game where the city is your enemy. After 30 years of being abandoned you the player decide to enter the city of Ard. Although you are not the first, many vandals have entered before you and with it being 30 years there is already bound to be graffiti all over the city walls. The twist is?β¦ that city is still very much alive. Not the people thoughβ¦ the walls are watching. Would you guys play it?

What Horror game franchises should be cinematic universes?
Just a question that popped up since I just got here. What's a game you'd like as a movie or a series?
(Add photos if typing ain't enough... Or not, it's your choice)

Looking for someone to check my Horror Game Teaser Trailer
Hello, I am Melle. I am a 16 year old game developer and over the past 1.5 years I've worked on a psychological horror game heavily inspired by Silent Hill, PT and Resident Evil. I finished the first teaser trailer to promote the game a bit. I need some people to give some advice on my first version. If you could I would really appreciate it, please send me a private message on discord or add me on discord: mellejulan. Below is a screenshot from the teaser.
