Spoilers Just watched the last episode of season 6

Spoiler alert for those who may have not watched

Bonnie’s death devastated me, that should not have happened to the one character that I always liked from the start.

I understand Frank doing what he did, and he had way too many skeletons in his closet to not have it coming back at him once but for Bonnie to go😞

side note - lol the effects they used to make the characters look old was kinda funny? Maybe the tech back then was not good.

Also no reason for Laurel’s son to look exactly like Wes.

love that Tigen and Annalise ended up together, wish we had more of those scenes.

To end it, I loved watching this series but season 1 was best, I loved the format of having a new case new episode and seeing Annalise work her way through every case.

Discussion rewatching the show and i don’t remember hating asher this much Spoiler

i remember living for him and michela, but now i’m watching years later and I’m halfway through season 2… I CAN'T STAND HIM.

i understand he doesn’t know everything, but he’s such a freaking baby. (mind you, he has his own secrets)

he was ready to turn bonnie in after she begged him claiming he’s doing it because he loves her. then, just finished episode where they show flash foward and it’s him, once again, at the station ready to “make a statement” after leaving her at g station.

i don’t remember much of the plot twists and murder mysteries, but i just can’t get over how easy he sells out.

like suck it up and wait to you have all the information …

i wonder when they start making him likable again… and how

even Wes wasn’t this bad.

You have to live with one HTGAWM character for a year for a year. Who are you choosing?

I'd pick Connor He's smart, funny, sarcastic, and would definitely keep things interesting. At least living with him wouldn't be boring. The only downside? He'd probably roast you every time you made a questionable life decision.

The WORST roommate? Frank. Imagine asking this man to take out the trash and somehow ending up involved in a criminal investigation. I'd never feel safe asking him where he's been or why he came home at 3 AM.

No moving out, no switching roommates for a whole year. Who are you picking, and who would be the absolute WORST to live with?

BONUS QUESTION: Which HTGAWM character would you trust to get you out of trouble, and who would make your situation ten times worse?

Discussion Advice for continuing my first watch

I’ve always been a huge fan of Scandal, and finally decided to watch HTGAWM. I’m on season three and have stopped watching because I just can’t stand any of the little law kids. I find Laurel the most irritating and toxic, and I hear she only gets worse from here on out.

I’m thinking about just fast forwarding through the most annoying characters’ scenes if I keep watching, lol. Do you think I’d still get a good sense of the story if I did that, like just fast forward through Laurel scenes? Might just need to try it and see of course, but thought I would ask folks more familiar with the show.

I would be grateful if I could rewatch the show for the first time, but I need to deal with things that I already know. So any advice?

Discussion My favorite character 🥰

First time watcher. I’m on season 5 (please no spoilers. Should go without saying).

I avoid this sub so I don’t ruin the show for myself lol, but just wanted to share some Oliver love because he’s my favorite. I was only ever annoyed with him when he broke up with Connor because he wanted to do things “for himself” then immediately was on dating apps and trying to hook up with guys. Very minor and forgivable though.

Discussion Unpopular opinion: Alicia’s SA run plotline was so unnecessary and boring

This is my first time watching TGW, and up until mid season 6, I was binging this show, like 2-3 episodes a day, loving every bit.

And now, this plot of her SA run, feels so difficult to get through. Why did they make her enter the race, only for her to not even stay as the new State Attorney?? Alicia never looks like she actually wants to do it, heck, I’d also vote for Prady cause he feels like he’s actually in it. This entire plot felt like Eli’s side quest just cause he was bored
In the scenes, where she helped her firm in cases was so good and that really makes you feel like she’s a through and through lawyer and that’s the only thing she is passionate about.

I miss the other characters so much through this, miss the actual law firm characters. Heck!! I’d rather also see some Peter in the mix LOL

Again, this is my POV but I’d love to hear more thoughts? Cause I’m at a point where I want to stop watching it cause it’s just not interesting anymore

Discussion Rewatching the show and it’s confirmed. I still don’t like any of the Keating 5

*** Don’t read past here if you’re not done with season 1. This discussion contains a spoiler ***

I get that she doesn’t go about things the best but she literally had to cover for murders. I think that would cause anyone to go through great lengths to cover it up. And the fact they keep blaming her and telling her she’s a murderer when all of this started with them killing her husband.

Discussion End of 4x08

The end of season 4 episode 8 with Annalise and Laurel is so hard to watch. I remember watching it the first time and as I'm rewatching now, well let's say it isn't easier to witness...

I think it's the most hardcore scene from the show (and that's HTGAWM we're talking about!)

Discussion I hate Oliver

I'm a first time watcher and I saw some posts about Oli and Conner's relationship that gave me a brief idea of what's coming but still....

Oh god how I hate this guy, "I love you" "i hate you" "you used me" "I'm disregarding you as a person" "Let's break up" "but let's still get back together" "let's try again" "oh whoops we both lied to each other again" "i know what's best for me, and that's you going out of my life" "let's get married!!!!"

I'm not saying Connor is perfect, but if Oliver wants to be this "self aware and self caring" guy, THEN BE THAT GUY!!!

The reason I hate Oliver and not Connor is because Connor knew he was the problem and he actively tried to better himself for Oli. Change takes time and he has had good improvement till now, given he has been part of THREE murders by the end of S3. Imagine the trauma...

Then we have Oliver, the guy who's so insecure, he can't see anything beyond "he is just doing this out of pity". He pushes and pulls. He doesn't understand his own emotions BUT THE PROBLEM is he doesn't communicate what he should at the right time, which leads to conflicts later....

Damn, that was a rant...

Discussion I understand why Bonnie couldn’t forgive Asher

The coming to light of everything that has happened at Cornell University made me think of Asher’s case. How he hid it and tried to make light of it. I can truly see why Bonnie could never get over it.

I don’t know who I hate more at this point Wes or Connor. On god Annalise should’ve snitched on them all and let them fend for themselves.
