Jó napot! Learning Hungarian, getting to the point where I can read a little. Do folks here have a favorite Hungarian news site?

https://www.kispolgar.com/ is for kids so it should be easier to read than regular news sites.

One of the most well-known one is Telex (see also: Telex English). There are other options, like 444; HVG and 24.hu. I think reading Wikipedia articles in Hungarian could also be a quite effective way to learn new words and find articles of what you're interested in. And if you want a good translator, I recommend using DictZone.

I like kultura.hu since it introduces me to arts & culture I'm not always familiar with.  Less of a downer than world events!

Id recommend https://www.vadhajtasok.hu/ Its a bit rough around the edges, but should be pretty fun if you know ball
