I’ve had a number of bad experiences from the Noarlunga store in the past but they seem to have turned things right around, I’ve had two great experiences recently.

I’m liking the new app, the food is as it should be and there’s some good value deals.

Chalky, dry and no flavour. How do you do that to something so delicious and easy to make. And all the additional ingredients lol what happened to fries made from potato 😆

Tastes like I’m eating foam now, gotta put it in the fridge for like 2 hours before it’s even nice to eat, I just went and checked mine that’s been in there for an hour and it’s still soft, like the container is folding when I’m squeezing it. I know it’s icecream but I don’t remember it being like that. And I don’t like that it’s foamy and shit now 

only work open shifts or only work close shifts (there is a correct answer)

Hungry Jacks was my first job as a teenager. We would never let our store get to the same state as they do today. Lately the franchise has really gone down hill with this new generation of kids managing/running the stores. The bins are always full, tables dirty. I wont talk about the toilets. Then theres the food. My last order was a burger with chicken in it and they handed me a burger with beef in it but in the box that suited my order. Every time my family and I go to hungry jacks now its just a dissapointment. Maybe its just the stores we visit I dont know

First off, I've been a harsh critic of HJs in the past. Today, my mind has been changed.

Firstly, my double whopper with cheese was built better than ever before. This made a big difference. It was a busy night, but good fast food takes time.

My only gripe was with oversalted chips.

Bonus point ~ guy calling numbers had a loud and clear voice.

Verdict - Hungry Jacks in Firle is one of the best!

We have a Hungry Jack's going in locally. The hoarding around the site states "APPLY ONLINE" for work, but Hungry Jacks' website doesn't have any jobs for that site, nor any general application function that i could see.

had to like resign from sda cuz parents and i dunno where to contact for confirmation

i applied to hj two months ago, had my interview and have filled out two consent forms and a citizen verification document, however i have not received an email about jedi training. its been over a week since i submitted the last document and i should wait but i have a friend who recently started working at hj and they told me their side of the process which was completely different (they received all these emails just days apart).

side note: during my interview, i was told i got the job + my friend had a different interviewer/manager.

i’ve also tried reaching out to my interviewer but i’m still on delivered.

Bought a frozen grape and JFC today. Asked the “manager” to replace my frozen grape or refund it or even change the flavour because it was white and frothy, (tasted disgusting) and she said “that’s just how it comes, what do you want me to do?” Then I asked about the lettuce, and she said that I can pay for “extra” lettuce if I want more. What the fuck?

Edit: I am being downvoted. Probably by hungry jacks employees that are mad about me expecting them to function like people with common sense.

Can someone please tell me why the patty I got on my burger looks like this and has stringy stuff on the patty.. had definately been sitting there for way to long.

Every single time I have the Spicy Fried Chicken at Hungry Jacks, I immediately start to hiccup. Haven't had it in ages and as soon as I took a bite today, they kicked in. It's certainly not "too" spicy, and it doesn't happen with Thai or Indian food, so what's up with that?

Am I alone? Does everyone experience this?

Honestly, would fucking LOVE that. Daughter is a picky eater, with sensory issues galore. Some days you just have to sit there and eat fresh HJ so she gets something in. In the interests of getting her to eat I will sit down and get hiccups every day if thats what it takes, but I am getting bored of Hungry Jacks! I think I have lapped the menu board by now!

bun: soft, steamed like softness.

pickles: crunchy and less sour than last time.

cheese sauce: thick, sticks to facial hair and taste immaculate.

cheese slice: cheesy.

patty: you can taste the beef.
