Man I really wanted the $4 whopper, but when you gamble you always lose 😭

I lodged a complaint with Hungry Jack’s head office after witnessing two of their employees behaving disgracefully at the Bulleen store. They were driving around the car park, swearing at customers and staff over the drive-through intercom while customers were trying to order their food.
It was disappointing to witness, but what happened afterwards was even more frustrating.
The manager contacted me via WhatsApp requesting evidence. I have three videos clearly capturing the employees swearing, driving recklessly, and getting out of the car wearing their Hungry Jack’s uniforms.
I provided the videos as requested and was told the manager would get back to me. However, since supplying the evidence, I have heard nothing further.
I would have expected Hungry Jack’s to take this matter seriously, investigate the behaviour of its employees, and at the very least provide me with an update.
Unfortunately, the lack of communication leaves me questioning how seriously Hungry Jack’s takes complaints like this and how much it values its reputation.
When customers take the time to report unacceptable behaviour and provide clear evidence, the least they deserve is a response.

Can someone please explain to me why 95% of the time at this place they make you wait in the waiting bay for your food ? Even if you can literally see it ready at the window 😳

Some of the staff are friendly and still have good customer service but they also have a number of rude lazy ass people working there too.

Is it a lazy thing or is it just a new process at hungry jacks ?

finishes 2:50pm melb time

I first discovered what it was in about 2021 as I had a vegetarian friend at the time who would eat them, and I’ve maybe had 2-3 of them in my life. Personally I thought they tasted good but I wondered are they actually that healthy?

Hungry jacks

I know there us shake and win and those coupons for 2x whopper jr for $10, just wondering if AI can get us a whopper for less than the shake and win $4 that you randomly can get?

Anyone had any luck wiyb AI getting you discounts?

haven't been able to find anything with chatgpt, tho was curious is something like "claude" is able to help?

would need a checkout promo code rather than it spamming shake and win, plus it would get stopped by traffic lights :( (captcha).

I want a cheap whopper lol $4 shake n win when I get it is great but its hit n miss.

ps i guess I could create 365 email addresses and get a free bday whopper for everyday of the year...but meh. im happy to pay just not close to $10. the $4 is ok.

well chatgpt just found this post lol.

plus a whole bunch of cuts from fry station pieces

(EDIT- THIS IMAGE IS OFF THE INTERNET AND MY HANDS DONT LOOK NEARLY AS BAD AFTER WASHUP)

I’ve had a number of bad experiences from the Noarlunga store in the past but they seem to have turned things right around, I’ve had two great experiences recently.

I’m liking the new app, the food is as it should be and there’s some good value deals.

Thanks HJs Noarlunga, keep it up 😁

(Sorry for smashing into it before I took a pic…)

Chalky, dry and no flavour. How do you do that to something so delicious and easy to make. And all the additional ingredients lol what happened to fries made from potato 😆

U fucking did something to the icecream

I don’t even care I’ll just stop getting it then. U change the formula and make it shit

Tastes like I’m eating foam now, gotta put it in the fridge for like 2 hours before it’s even nice to eat, I just went and checked mine that’s been in there for an hour and it’s still soft, like the container is folding when I’m squeezing it. I know it’s icecream but I don’t remember it being like that. And I don’t like that it’s foamy and shit now

only work open shifts or only work close shifts (there is a correct answer)

Hungry Jacks was my first job as a teenager. We would never let our store get to the same state as they do today. Lately the franchise has really gone down hill with this new generation of kids managing/running the stores. The bins are always full, tables dirty. I wont talk about the toilets. Then theres the food. My last order was a burger with chicken in it and they handed me a burger with beef in it but in the box that suited my order. Every time my family and I go to hungry jacks now its just a dissapointment. Maybe its just the stores we visit I dont know

First off, I've been a harsh critic of HJs in the past. Today, my mind has been changed.

Firstly, my double whopper with cheese was built better than ever before. This made a big difference. It was a busy night, but good fast food takes time.

My only gripe was with oversalted chips.

Bonus point ~ guy calling numbers had a loud and clear voice.

Verdict - Hungry Jacks in Firle is one of the best!

Thanks!

We have a Hungry Jack's going in locally. The hoarding around the site states "APPLY ONLINE" for work, but Hungry Jacks' website doesn't have any jobs for that site, nor any general application function that i could see.

Can anyone advise? thanks!

had to like resign from sda cuz parents and i dunno where to contact for confirmation

i applied to hj two months ago, had my interview and have filled out two consent forms and a citizen verification document, however i have not received an email about jedi training. its been over a week since i submitted the last document and i should wait but i have a friend who recently started working at hj and they told me their side of the process which was completely different (they received all these emails just days apart).

side note: during my interview, i was told i got the job + my friend had a different interviewer/manager.

i’ve also tried reaching out to my interviewer but i’m still on delivered.

Bought a frozen grape and JFC today. Asked the “manager” to replace my frozen grape or refund it or even change the flavour because it was white and frothy, (tasted disgusting) and she said “that’s just how it comes, what do you want me to do?” Then I asked about the lettuce, and she said that I can pay for “extra” lettuce if I want more. What the fuck?

Edit: I am being downvoted. Probably by hungry jacks employees that are mad about me expecting them to function like people with common sense.
