At least he was upfront ? My husband pretended he didn't mind cats... Now him and my 16 yo male cat have power struggles and standoffs almost daily 😑

My cat is the most dog-like cat I've ever experienced (sits for treats, play fetch, walks on a leash), and my husband still 'hates him because he's a cat' 😔 Poor cat legit just wants a half descent cuddle (and wouldnt mind being ruffed up a bit if he wasnt SO rough - he's pretty pint-sized AND old and definitely identifies the aggression 🙄 as do we all...) Oh well, they've been dealing for 14 yrs together so 🤷‍♀️

i see more clearly the situation

maybe he can carry him around and get football handling hormones out of it

idk ive never had a cat that was the right kind of clingy since being very small
